With simple and elegant decor, 't Overhamme offers a very conducive environment for fine dining. The tables are not too close to each other and you can have a good chat with your friends. The ingredients are put together in a very tasty and visually pleasing way. You will appreciate the creativity of the chefs.

We ate here with some Belgian friends whilst visiting Aalst. The restaurant had been recommended by our Belgian friends and it did not disappoint. The menu is varied and all the food is of high quality. Our starters included the beef carpaccio and garlic prawns, both were of a very high standard and delicious. For the main course all four of us opted for the house speciality of salmon with béarnaise sauce, again delicious. Our Belgian friends also opted for a desert which they both greatly enjoyed. We all opted for a glass of the house wine which was also delicious. Staff in the restaurant were very friendly and we were all made to feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend.

A permanent quality, fresh products, traditional cooking, efficient and friendly staff supervised by the ever friendly owner.
Perfectly located on the central square of the city, with an outside Terrace if the weather is fine, ideal to enjoy a good meal, the sun and the occasional people watching.

The dinner was arranged to recognize the successful completion a project and I had not previously heard of this restaurant. Turned out it was an excellent choice. Formal and yet still relaxed the atmosphere worked well. None of the group even looked at the menu as we all went with the 'special menu of the day'....5 courses of mostly seafood served with imagination, some amazing flavours and yet avoiding the common mistake of overcomplicating dishes. The wines were also chosen by the restaurant and each one worked perfectly. A truly great evening.

we are an Irish Pub and Restaurant located right at the train station in Aalst Belgium Our kitchen provides a mixture of Irish traditional dishes as well as a mixture of local and international dishes we have a selection of Irish and Belgian beers and ales to suit all tastes. Our selection of Irish whiskey and scotch whisky is one of the biggest in Aalst.

Was staying at a hotel near the station and this place seemed okay. And that's just what it was. Okay. Okay food (I had the burger), okay beer (well, you can't really mess that up now, can you?). But nothing more that that. Average service. Not really bothered. I've been to better Irish Pubs.

Nice surprise this restaurant in a purple façade house in centrum town, cosy and casual with a very tasty "deco-touch", the card proposes a "must go for" season-menu of top-class for just 45€ pp - I suggest you to take the 65€ wine-included formula, allowing you to taste 4 well chosen glasses of appropriate wine (and even an extra refill will be served to you with a smile if it turns out you appreciated it so much it emptied somewhat fast...)
We went business casual, but I'll plan a stop-over with my wife on our next visit to the city of Alost !

The food, the atmosphere and the service is very good. Eating and dining in a relaxed atmosphere, eating food you have never experienced, combined with nice selected wines. If you are here for a business lunch, diner, or just with some good friends, it always fits to your needs.

We went here for a lunch this time, together with our 1 1/2 year old son. We sat in the garden which is cosy, but plain. The food and service are always great. Basic, pure flavours and sufficient vegetarian or gluten free options available.

When we went htere in august, the food was from a good quality, good variarity and tastfull. Everything what you can expect from a Chinese Cuisine. The parking is across the restaurant and payable, that's a pitty if you viit a restaurant because they don't have private parking. For the rest, ok...

We've been to this restaurant on several occasions with friends, family and business relations and each time we enjoyed a great meal.
Using only fresh products presented in an attractive fashion, each dish is a pleasure to look at and consume.
Service could be a wee bit faster, but what the hell, service is always with a smile and the atmosphere and environment are very relaxing, making every meal here into a special experience.
Well done guys, we will be back ...
