Reviewed By KrishnanV56The rooms are not upto current standards. The staff is untrained and the systems of dealing with guest expectations is poor. There does not seem to be anybody in charge. The kitchen staff is especially unfit for the job and were unable to cater to our food requirements. The person dealing with the guests in the restaurant was drunk and was loud and fairly rude. The staff was heard to be quarrelling and shouting in the kitchen. All in all the managements seemed chaotic. I can’t recommend this property and it is definitely not worth the price. It is a pity as the location is good and it has much potential

Reviewed By Pradeep ABest hotel in pauri garhwal. Situated on the road leading to Rishikesh city. Rooms are big and clean with hygenic toilet. Restaurant is also in the hotel for meals. Roof area is big with jhoola. View from the room is amazing and mountain ranges are visible from here. Staff members are helpful.

Reviewed By DyundiOur friends and I had a great and peaceful time. Loved the peace and tranquil. So many different species of birds and so many day treks to explore. The staff was very helpful and told us amazing stories of the place. Will surely visit again.

Nature at its best!
Reviewed By Megha DThree families with kids went for weekdays. 26th to 28th Sep. First thing that strikes you is picturesque location. River is shallow and safe. There are thousands of very small size fishes and we also saw some crabs. Feeding them was a great joy for kids. We stayed in the deluxe rooms and it was a great decision as they are spacious and each family just needed a room each. Also view from rooms 103 & 104 is superb. You can just laze around in the balcony and watch kingfishers or feed fishes from the balcony. Rooms are clean and hygienic. Entire property has flying insects as expected but there was All Out in all rooms/ dining room and never did it become a menace. After the location second big hit is food. Dal Makhni that we had on arrival completely floored us. We requested for tandoori snacks for the evening and they were amazing. Tandoori chicken, paneer tikka and tandoori pudina chicken tikka. Naam and rotis were great too. They are away from any market and therefore need advance notice for food. Best is to let them know right after lunch what you want for dinner and what you need for breakfast in the evening. We had pahari mutton curry, desi murga curry, Palak paneer, shahi paneer, jeera aloo, puri sabji, eggs etc. and enjoyed every meal. For snacks highly recommended is pakodas they make pahari style. We also had aloo chaat, peanut chaat, pakoras, French fries etc. Finally, Place also has a lot to do. Main Lansedowne is half an hour away and you can enjoy boating at Bhulla Taal there. There is an amazing bakery- Kotnala Bakery near market in Lansedowne that you just shouldn't miss. Bun-cream, pastries, biscuits etc. There is a Vatanvasa Jim Corbett Tiger Reserve gate 40-45 Mts away. And if you don't want to do anything, just spend hours with your feet soaked in the river Kho right outside. That's how we spent maximum time as a family! This time of the year weather is perfect and you just need a light shawl for yourself and full sleeves clothes and jackets for kids.
