Out of the way but centrally located within the region
Reviewed By cbhillsWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this immaculately restored dairy farm. Although the hosts have no English and we have no Italian we managed to book with the help of Google translate and communicate quite handily during our stay. We hired a car and there would be no alternative if you wanted to stay here but driving was easy and we made day trips all over the area. We went to Parma, Modena, Reggio and of course Mantova. The meals in the dining room were outstanding. Dinner was multiple courses of plentiful house made food and absolutely delicious. Washed down with a bottle of Lambrusco it was the highlight of our days. As the farm is surrounded by rice fields and a stones throw to the Po I asked the owner to make us risotto on our last night and it was easily the best risotto by far I have ever eaten. Highly recommend staying here for a visit to Emilia Romagna.

My dog not allowed
Reviewed By R RGood restaurant but I had to leave my dog in the trunk because they told me that my dog was not allowed. Even tough, later, I saw a friend of them with a dog taking him inside. So it was just MY dog not allowed.

Reviewed By barbarapT6663EYIo e il mio compagno con la nostra cagnolina Maia, siamo stati due volte in questa bella struttura gestita con tantissima passione da Julia, proprietaria gentilissima e molto disponibile. Ci serviva una base d'appoggio per quando veniamo a Mantova a trovare i parenti e stare da lei è stato come avere una seconda casa. Immersa nelle campagne mantovane gode di una grandissima tranquillità. Gli interni sono moderni ben curati e molto puliti. La colazione è super e soddisfa ogni palato! Che dire, il posto giusto per riposarsi dopo una giornata passata o a visitare Mantova per un turista o a visitare i parenti nel nostro caso :). Consigliamo vivamente Corte Castella a tutte quelle persone amanti della natura, della tranquillità e delle cose semplici ma belle.

Reviewed By Giusy1309La residenza si trova in posizione strategica, a due passi dall'uscita dell'autostrada e dall'Outlet, le camere sono di recente ristrutturazione, pulite e curate, molto silenziose e rilassanti, con ogni confort dotate di un piccolo ma angolo cucina., con frigorifero fornito di tutto il necessario per la prima colazione (causa restrizioni covid non era agibile la sala colazioni) , ma questa soluzione a no è tornata molto più che funzionale. wifi e aria condizionata . titolare molto attento alle nostre esigenze ed estremamente gentile.
