The Agriturismo Al Vermigliano is located in the middle of the Maremma Natural Park, a natural oasis where nature is preserved with care and attention. Alberese beach can be reached by bike or using public transport and car access is limited in the daily number. Rooms have a safe, minibar and a fan. The private bathroom comes with a hairdryer, a shower and a bidet. The two-room apartments have a double room plus single bed, bathroom with shower, bidet and hairdryer, kitchenette with refrigerator and negative cell, sofa, safe and outdoor porch equipped with table and chairs. Guests have access to the seasonal swimming pool with parasols and sun loungers, whirlpool, barbecue, wi-fi and free bicycles. Room rates include a breakfast buffet with local products, while you can dine with local specialties upon reservation.

Reviewed By LoveHolidayz100We recently spent a night here. Rosy is a great host, she and her daughter made us feel really welcome. They did their best to advise us in where to go in the area...despite the language barrier! Unfortunately wifi didn't work for us. I'd recommend renting the bikes for a cycle to marina alberese- which gives access to a fabulous wild beach. There's an 8km cycle path almost the whole way. Overall we didn't rate alberese itself it's like the town that time forgot-in an uncharming way. It was my first experience of agritourism and you really are in a working farmyard! The decor is a bit dated but I guess that's part if the charm and the breakfast was fantastic with lots of homemade jams by Rosy and lovely cakes & biscuits!

Our farmhouse is situated just in front of the Natural Park of Maremma at 10 minutes drive from the sea of Marina di Alberese, and 45 minutes from Saturnia thermal bath. It enjoys a beautiful view of the hills of the Natural park. We have a typical restaurant, every dishes are home-made.

We agree that the best restaurant in the area is currently the Ristorante in the Agriturismo “Il Malograno die Banditella”, because of its great variety in the preparation of the dishes, which are beautiful prepared and there is a relaxed atmosphere in the garden of the Agriturismo. This restaurant lacks only the stars and for that still a real insider tipp. We always like to come back!

Peaceful, friendly place to stay
Reviewed By suffolklad33A good central location for a birdwatching holiday,On the edge of the Maremma reserve. Extremely helpful hosts and staff. Comfortable room with outside seating area which was good to enjoy after a day out. Breakfast was excellent. Varied dinner menu but useful if you have a Q code reader. Wine from their own vineyard is excellent. Excellent wi-fi. Siena is just an hour away so can be done in a day trip by car.

Reviewed By 905gaetanorQuiet location, excellent cooking, friendly owners, possibility of beautiful walks ; about 600 meters from the center of Alberese and 5 Km from the sea, it is advisable to bring a bicycle. A visit to the ruins of San Rabano monastery is recommended, the view around is spectacular.

Lovely small pig farm
Reviewed By l2016nWe stayed in Agriturismo Carso August 2019 for 4 nights and really enjoyed it. The owners are very friendly and, although they don't speak English, showed us around on the farm and introduced us to the animals. The apartment was well equipped, especially the big kitchen, and it was clean and tidy. The farm is a little bit messy but lovely, especially the way animals are handled.

For those who wish for total independence, private apartments of various types are available, with garden or terrace, sleeping from 5 to a maximum of 12 persons. They stand right in the village of Alberese, near the Maremma Park's Visitors Centre, near the cycling track for the sea of Marina di Alberese and the shuttle service for the beach, in a brand- new complex.
