If you are looking for a beautiful day of relaxation don't go anywhere, you found it. With all the trees and the rocks it's perfect the set up. You have the Steam bath, the dry sauna, 3 cold water pool, 3 hot jaccuzi, different places to relaxe outside in front of a nice fire or inside a relaxing cabin with centered fireplace with special chairs and nice sofa so you can snooze or read a book. Plenty of free parking space. From the parking to the spa you have to climb the many, many stairs but you have many landing to catch your breath. If you are in Lanaudière region make sure you stop to La Source Bains Nordiques.

I played this course for the first time on Aug. 5-2017. I had not heard or played this course before. It's a little over an hour from Montreal not far from Rawdon or Joliette. I was pleasantly surprised. Everything from the course to the clubhouse was perfect. There are two 18 holes courses here. We played Le Canton. The greens were on the fast side while the fairways were like a plush carpet. I will surely be going back to this one soon.

I was at Montreal for a conference. Got excited by their website. Public transport takes over 2 hours to reach. Taxi is over $125 each way. At the palais congress, there was a thrifty car rental so we took a car on rent and went there. Rental cost with fuel was about $100.
Drive to the place is fairly simple and took 45 minutes.
Please phone and fix up the time.
We reached just about in time.
Eric and Eric were our trainers and life savers during the jump.
The plane looks straight out of a world war movie.
They quickly teach you the dos and donts and I think its good to keep it brief to avoid unnecessary scaring of the participants.
Plane goes to about 13000 feet so please blow your nose to equalise the pressure ( like scuba diving ).
The jump is not a big deal because you have someone with you.
As my friend jumped off before me, there was little choice for me but to jump.
You go upside down and the view is like an astronaut to start with as you see dark blue sky and the earth outline in a curve.
Then after that great view when you turn around facing the earth, there is a lot of wind on your face. The large glasses they give ensures you see everything.
Soon your free fall and gravity compensate each other and you are able to appreciate the view better.
Then the parachute opens and it becomes very slow and still.
Thats when you can see the countryside and enjoy.
It was bright and sunny when we went.

Nice place for picnic and short walk to falls and up River. Parking was plentiful if the gates were open. Although closed, small parking area up front near road was ok, but city missed a lot of revenue with all the visitors coming in. Well worth our time here as it was safe, clean and beautiful.

If you want a good laugh, some family time, fresh air and a fun activity, this is definitely one of those activities. It's makes you work out and enjoy nature while having a blast going up, down, walking on cans, sliding, zig line and having fun. Definitely worth trying it once (or twice...).

I decided to embrace Winter instead of fighting it and to this end, chose to em”bark” (pardon the pun), on an authentic dogsledding experience. I actually tried it twice before, (with other outfits), but those excursions only gave me a small taste. My afternoon with KINADAPT at Rawdon, definitely turned out to be a superior dogsledding experience than the rest!
I learned about KINADAPT at the Auto Plateau desk at the Centre Infotouriste (Tourist Information Centre), in downtown Montreal, where I signed up for one of KINADAPT ‘s dogsledding activities called, “Le Coup de Coeur.” This 3 hour package involved an intensive indoor information session on dogsledding. After this, we went outside to meet the dogs where we received additional instruction on how to harness them. I loved how all the participants got a chance to help out with harnessing the dogs of each of their respective dog teams.
This was followed by an hour of dogsledding through a fair distance of rugged unspoiled Wilderness that ranged from scenic wide open spaces to pretty trails in protected wooded areas.
After this adventure, we all met in a rustic cabin where one of the owners Carole Turcotte, welcomed us with some hot chocolate and a homemade snack. Speaking of the owners, KINADAPT is a family-owned business that is not only well run, offers a hospitable atmosphere to visitors. Peter Boutin, his wife Carole, and their daughter Pam were all present that day, but it was Carole and Pam who I got to know better. Carole was very engaging as she warmly welcomed early arrivals at their home. I was lucky enough to have Pam assigned to my dogsled team. She was not only knowledgeable, bilingual and pleasant to be around, but proved to be an excellent musher.
The only thing I didn’t like about that day, had nothing to do with KINADAPT,. It was the $13.00 (return) toll I had to pay for using the A-25 highway from Montreal to Rawdon. Even stranger, was that I received the bill for this toll by mail.
Okay back to the main topic. If you’re going in cold weather (which makes dogsledding, a more authentic experience), be well prepared to dress warmly. Warm socks and mitts are a must! I should have brought an extra pair of warm mitts as my fingers froze in a pair of gloves that just weren’t suitable for dogsledding in very cold weather.
I would highly recommend this dogsledding experience with KINADAPT whether you plan to drive your own sled or just prefer to go along for the ride.
As a final note, the dogs all appeared to be happy, healthy and most of all well-treated.

This is such a great place to come with the kids. Pack a picnic and bathing suits. Sit on the hill side overlooking the falls. These falls are fun to walk in with natural pools to just sit and chill.

I love coming here when I want a good fun round. It's a 90-year old course that is continuously changing. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
There are some difficult holes and easier ones but none is to be taken lightly. I went there yesterday (Sept. 27) and the ground crews were preparing it for winter: cutting trees (although not the one I was stuck behind), airing the greens, etc.
Not a very expensive course. It takes me 45 minutes from my home in Laval but it's worth it.
