This fabulous collection of vintage cars, motorcycles, bikes, cyclos, toy pedal cars, trucks, and more (even an authentic Philippine jeepney, a helicopter, plane and a couple of trains!) is a great find for enthusiasts of old transport vehicles. Lots of older vehicles (75 years old or more) and some newer collectibles, including a gull-wing-doored DeLorean DMC-12.
Owner has hundreds of vehicles in his collection and shares it generously with visitors, with no admission fee (even providing ice cold water for free!). Wander as long as you want and enjoy vehicles rarely seen. The collection concentrates on European vehicles, but also has a few gems from the U.S.
The museum is out in the countryside and requires a relaxing drive through the countryside of Nakhon Pathom Province. The location on Google Maps is perfect though, and takes you right to the museum.
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit, although I wished that the museum could include more signs describing the vehicles (model, year, origin, etc.). Anyone with even a passing interest in cars and transportation will enjoy a visit!

One of those places that has a dual-pricing system, with foreigners paying 4x as much as locals. We received a discount because we live in Thailand.
We weren't familiar with most of the people presented in wax (monks, royals and Thai artists), which left us with displays of local Thai life and a handful of world-famous people. The statues were set in nice scenery and very life-like.
There's a little lake outside with pedal-boats, Seating under the trees, market stalls, and some food and souvenir shops. It was quiet, but according to the staff it gets very busy at weekends.

Woodland Muangmai is an absolutely mind-blowing place. Anyone who appreciates nature, trees and wood MUST visit here. We heard about the place and stopped by for a visit one weekend, with the intention of viewing the wood carving collection. We were somewhat discouraged though by the price (200 baht for Thais and 350 or 450 for foreigners... I didn't catch which). But, they said if we checked into their resort, we could see the collection for free. So, we booked an overnight in the resort for the following weekend.
The price for a large cottage at the resort (living room, bedroom, kitchenette) was only 1,500 baht including a simple porridge breakfast, although the advertised price was 2,500 baht. The room was clean, but very dated; could use some serious renovation and modernization.
Back to the wood collection and buildings: absolutely mind-boggling!! Huge logs for the building pillars; massive elephants and "woodmen" statues made from wood; etc. Inside the series of airconditioned buildings containing the collections are brilliantly carved animals, Apsaras, Buddhas, and various gods and goddesses. A highlight is a huge room containing massive carvings of the Christian "stations of the cross" set along the wall and a carved replica of the Pieta (the original carved in marble and on display in the Vatican). Reminiscent of Michaelangelo, all of the Christian carvings were completed by a dedicated carver over a 13-year period!
There is a separate exclusive collection of wood carvings in another building, for which an additional 100 baht if charged. Again, we hesitated, but the collection is well, well worth the modest fee. An English-speaking guide will show you around the incredible collection, with includes some of the most exquisite wood carvings imaginable.
The grounds of the place are also very pleasant, including a rock garden with huge stones. The grounds sit on the banks of the Tha Chin River. During the time of our stay, we enjoyed an added bonus in being there at the time of the year of nesting of a huge colony of Asian open-billed storks. Literally, thousands of the majestic birds now nest in trees across the river from Woodland Muangmai from November to February. We enjoyed hours of watching the fabulous birds, foraging for snails, tending their newly hatched young, repairing their nests, or just soaring on the thermals. Don't miss the fabulous show; bring your binoculars and telephoto lens!
Woodland Muangmai also has a great coffee shop! So, lots of options for staying overnight or just stop in for coffee and a tour of the great carvings.
The unique attractions and pleasures of this place are hard to overstate. Being only an hour or hour and a half from Bangkok makes the place very accessible. Don't miss it!

I've seen some mixed reviews here and online. I just went yesterday so this is pretty current. First it's a nice day trip and once out of Bangkok it's really lush and semi-rural where the Temple is. Really calming. The Temple grounds are spectacular - great architecture and statues. You're free to just wander around and they sell food there so you can have lunch etc. If you look for the building with two tigers out the front - inside there is a shop where you can get various Sak Yant items - tshirts, amulets, figurines etc. These are pretty cool (but I'm biased as I get Yants done) & for some like me, spiritual. There's also random stalls set up about the place where you can buy things. You can ask at the shop (or get your driver to) where the yants are done by the monks. Yes, foreigners are led upstairs & you're getting charged at premium. My buddy got a small yant and that was 1500 baht including gold leaf. You get to pick your yant from loads of design photos and you can tell the monk where you want to get it. You also get a new needle out of the packet. Pretty much join the queue, first in, first served. And yep, there's about 9 little temple dogs upstairs, including where the yants are done, and yes, I saw them piss on the walls and floors. This may or may not be to your liking. Worth going there and downstairs where most thais are to look around. Some Thai get yants upstairs as well so I'm not sure what the deal is with that. And as I walked around I saw a few random yants getting done by monks or lay ajahns around the place. When I was there some tourists started haggling over the cost of the yants. Poor form. This is a spiritual art not a souvenir shop. Treat the art and the monks with respect and you will get it back - they will be pleasant, helpful and friendly. From what I saw - disrespect is a two way street. And they're the guys about to poke you with needles. Have a think about it.
If you want a nice day trip, see an ancient art form rarely seen in the West, this is sorth it. Recommend you go early - especially is you want a yant.

Went to this place after visiting Luang Por Pern (Wat Bang Phra). Short distance from there only. Buddha statue is magnificient and perch on the top of the steps. Nice photo area too with sun below buddha.
You can write your name on a metal plate and leave it inside the bottom area of the buddha statue. Many people come here to worship and my wishes are granted (good wishes of course). Highly recommended for buddhist lover.

The Owl Art Museum is located very near to Jesada Museum. This is basically someone's owl collection that got out f control! Everything "owl" including statues, cups, and various knick-knacks. They charge 40 baht entrance, which is small but actually probably twice what it's worth. We patronized the place basically just to give it a quick look; in and out in less than 30 minutes. Nothing veryexciting here, unless you're really into collecting owls.

For decades, my family and I have been amazed by this place, where thousands of large catfish and other species converge near the wat, where they are fed by visitors. Toss an entire loaf of stale bread in the water and watch the fish thrash over each other to get a bite! Peaceful place, aside from the splash of the fish and the shrieks of pleasure of kids feeding the fish.
