Dating back more than 10,000 years, Jericho is the oldest living town in the world, with a population of 27,000, makes it the smallest of the 8 major cities of the westbank. At 250m below Sea level, it is the lowest town on the face of the Earth. The cable car links Tell Jericho to the Mt. of Temptation in less than 5 minutes You will travel over Jericho Oasis and the banana fields Once you get off the cable car, The Monastery is a few minutes walk. Not to be missed!
