Out of the Way and Peaceful
Reviewed By Prince-IagoAbout 10 km from Lam Pam on 4007 heading towards Thale Noi. Just off the road so very quiet and peaceful. The resort is a collection of chalets surrounding a pool. The chalet has a large bedroom and shower /toilet bathroom. Comfortable bed and everything is very clean. The pool is a good size but very deep (about 2 m). Several good lakeside restaurants nearby.

Lovely place
Reviewed By LPHotelTMMy family and I have stayed there several times. Every hotel does have its good and bad side. The first time we stayed there we stayed by their pond. The rooms were clean but one did not have a pleasant smell. That was easily resolved by covering the drain hole which was the origin of the smell and loads of pandanus leaves. Generally apart from that we enjoyed our stay The next time we went back the problem was resolved but we decided to try their other rooms. Each time we have gone back the rooms have been clean and pleasant to stay in. The breakfast depending on the occupancy is acceptable. On a high occupancy day, you normally have the fried rice and noodles. There is chicken porridge, sausages, eggs, juices, bread, coffee, tea etc. When there are not many ppl then they have set breakfast menus. We like going there for the weekends as they have their market set up by the lake. There are many tables were you can order the food from the individual stalls who will send the food to your table. All you have to do is enjoy the food and clear up after yourselves. Our table is normally overflowing from the many choices of food there is being offered there. If the market is closed then do eat at the resort itself. Dinner by the small canal is lovely and the food is very good indeed. Quite reasonably priced as well. Kids enjoyed the green curry and tom yam. The prawns just plainly grilled in salt was extremely delicious. The only thing which we didn't like was the bad internet connection at the resort which was spotty. Best place was at the lobby or restaurant. Apart from that we are looking forward to our next visit to Lampam.

Great Staff / Location
Reviewed By Scott HWe were in Thale Noi for a Business Convention at the national park. We chose not to stay at the accomodation within the park and looked for a great room nearby. We found it at Chuanchom Resort and would definatly stay again.

A very secluded resort
Reviewed By weihanbDon’t blink or you will miss it. You can follow your waze or google map but it will tell you you have arrived and you will not see it. If you pass the gas station and it is on your left you just move on down 10 meters and turn left. Move straight for 50 meters and turn left. Keep an eye out for signage, although it is in Thai and you won’t even know it. When you finally arrive, the place itself is very peaceful and tranquil. It is off the road and is very quiet. The owner speaks very very little English so you might want to practice your Thai or get a translated ready. The rooms are clean and spacious. We took the room that is 600 over baht and it does not come with hot water. You get tv air cond and soap. Towels are provided. It is very clean and the view overlooks a pond of still water. If there are other occupants, you can wave to them as it is an entire glass window. Pull the curtains if you want some privacy. Pay an extra 200 over baht and you get a bigger tv and hot water. It is near to the Thale Noi and also the floating market making it a good choice if you want some peace and quiet. Of course the town itself is very quiet with not much to do after dark. Even before it gets dark there is not much to do there.

Not a relaxing place but stunning natural surroundings
Reviewed By ps1160My boyfriend and I wanted to get away from the bustling city of Bangkok and thought Pakpra Lagoon would be a nice peaceful place for relaxation. We booked for 4 nights. We flew to Trang airport and booked a private transfer to the hotel. We arrived in the afternoon and booked the evening sunset boat ride on the lake. This was amazing and relaxing. The next morning, we booked sunrise boat ride on the lake. A must do if you are here and it was stunning. The natural beauty here is top class. Then there was not much else to do. We spent the remaining 2 days reading. There was some rain and cloudy so we couldn’t enjoy the pool. For meals, we alternate between a restaurant nearby and the hotel restaurant. The service at the hotel was not up to the value of the room cost. The staff are not ready for foreign visitors as they couldn’t communicate or understand English. Our room (Yor Villa) was nice but again not worth the money. The tap came off and the hot shower didn’t work after one night. It was very noisy from long tail boat engines and traffic from nearby big road. This was form early morning to late night. It was not peaceful as we had hoped and 2 nights would have been more than enough.
