Come and visit Oxfordshire’s original and best Paint-Your-Own pottery and craft studio. We specialise in pottery painting, Decopatch, mosaics and block printing. We love to encourage creativity! Our quirky studio offers children’s workshops every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the school holidays. With our beautifully decorated shop, you’ll have endless amounts of inspiration. We also serve snacks and hot and cold drinks. We can print hand or footprints onto pottery, in clay, plaster, silver and even take 3d casts. Our lovely staff are well practised at getting the perfect prints from all ages. We also do a free coaster for under 6 week olds. What we do: Children's hand and footprints, Plaster outprints, 3D Casts, Clay imprints & Silver Jewellery Children's and Hen Parties Commission Pieces Children's Holiday Workshops After School Art Club Adult Workshops Indian Block Printing Supplies It is advisable to book during busy periods. I took three young grandsons to the Pottery Place on a hot Sunday afternoon and we could not have been made more welcome! The staff were all friendly and we were helped in making family presents which will be valued by family member for years to come!

I got this for my wife as a birthday present, as she'd always wanted to have a go. Viv was wonderful, giving just the right level of help, without taking over. A really wonderful experience

Award winning, quirky paint your own pottery cafe filled with plenty of creative activities for adults and children. A good selection of pottery items to choose from before painting it how you like, maybe a hand and footprint of your baby/child, decopatch anything from photo frames to piggy banks. Indulge yourself with delicious home made cake and artisan teas and barista coffees. We have two studio rooms, one on the first floor and the party room on the second floor, so plenty of seating for everyone. So whether you just want to pop in for a coffee, meet friends for tea and cake or bring the family in for some craft activities we have room for you all and you are all welcome at Busy Brush Cafe. We even have free wifi so if you're planning on a 'work from home day' and want to escape home, we have become the 'second home' for a number of Wallingford locals. We look forward to your visit.

We called in for a tea and cake on a wet afternoon. What a delightful place. Lovely pot of real tea and yummy cakes beautifully served with china teapot, cups and plates. A family were painting mugs and clearly enjoying themselves, unfortunately as we were only passing through we didn’t have time to join them. It’s a tiny place on 3 floors and they might do better to make it clear outside that there is plenty of seating, and they don’t do only takeaways.

I bought a day’s pottery course for my wife’s birthday and it was brilliant. Sarah was knowledgeable, attentive and tolerant of our inexperience (we’d never thrown a pot before - well my wife had 59 years ago but that doesn’t count). She really gave us confidence and I can’t believe the quality of pots, cups, bowls, plates and vases we produced (17 in total!) I can’t wait to go back in a week to pick them up after they’ve been fired

Jessie’s Art Shed has been successfully running after school art clubs, school day workshops, art workshops, individual art lessons and art parties from its previous base in Standlake and now Eynsham for the last three years as well as drop in arts and crafts supplies and kits. We believe that having the freedom to be creative is very powerful!
