A few kilometers from the main coastal attractions, Ravello, Amalfi, Positano and a strategic point to reach places such as Pompei, Naples and Paestum. A few meters away is the bus stop and nearby there are groceries, pharmacy, bars, pizzerias and restaurants.

Reviewed By FlyAngLike many others, we stumbled upon this beautiful bed & breakfast because we decided last minute we wanted to go to the Amalfi coast and everything else was either already booked or absurdly expensive. We rented a car and drove to this hotel from Rome.. a little stressful to get there if you're not used to driving windy Italian roads like we weren't. We got there easily using Google Maps. If you have a car, just park down beside the church, don't drive all the way up to the top at the front of the hotel. There's only room for one car and it's hard to get up there and get back down. We never paid for parking beside the church but I think there were signs talking about paying for parking but we didn't understand Italian so we took the risk. It's a quaint, beautiful, family run hotel, and when we checked in, the son of the woman who ran the hotel checked us in. He spoke good English but she didn't so when he wasn't there we just communicated with her using google translate as we can't speak Italian. There are not many rooms which makes it's so cute and cozy. Rooms are large and clean. We had a double bed in ours and a bunk bed. More than what we needed for two people. There is a patio right out the door of the room we stayed in with breathtaking views. We spent an evening on the patio just drinking wine and this is where my fiancé and I got engaged! And for that reason, Puesta de Sol will always have a special place in our hearts. There is also a complimentary breakfast every morning with coffee, espresso, juices, croissants, cookies, jams, etc. On our final day we had to check out extremely early to catch our flight and she left a tray in our room the night prior with all the goodies we would have gotten at breakfast. So thoughtful! It is very easy to drive from this hotel down to the beach. With the excellent price, big rooms, free breakfast, incredible view, easy to get to the beach, I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of visiting the area!

Reviewed By Ruth WLovely family run bed and breakfast, a hidden gem in a beautiful village just 20 mins drive from the amalfi coast. The family are very welcoming, the rooms are clean, modern and well supplied. The breakfast was included and home made. We had a great Italian meal in a local restaurant shown to use by the owners and joined the local villagers celebrating a local festival. We would highly recommend staying here if you want to see the real Italy and want to made to feel part of a lovely community and family

Nice Hotel with friendly hosts in a qiuet area close to the amalfi coast
Reviewed By MarbrolThe rooms are nice and clean. The hosts Marika and Generoso are very helpful and friendly. The Italian Breakfast is very good. It takes about 5 min by car to Maiori at the Amalfi coast. There is a Parking area at the Hotel. Public Bus Stations are close. The hotel is surrounded by lemontrees upon a small hill. It is a lovely quiet place to start excursions to all the interesting sites around like Naples, Pompej, Paestum etc. or to relax after swimming and sunbathing at the amalfi coast beaches. A car is needed.

Reviewed By kkerrytWe were staying at hotel bel air and the manager recommended this restaurant as they provided a free shuttle service to and from our hotel.. so we tried it out and were so glad we did the food is lovely with fresh catch of the day and chefs recommendations, we ate here twice during our stay something we rarely do as its good to try all different alternatives but because everything coming out the kitchen looked amazing we felt we wanted to return for other dishes that we didn’t have the room for first visit.. we were overwhelmed at the service as one evening after dining here we decided to go into the main square for a nightcap and the manager arranged for us to be driven into town after dinner and collected from the square at midnight and delivered back to our hotel..!! Amazing service and all free..!! As taxis are expensive in Sorrento.... The staff are warm friendly and very Italian which we love.. Definitely deserves a five star rating and Of course we will return when next in Sorrento..

Eravamo in 14, abbiamo alloggiato in 3 appartamenti indipendenti ma collocati tutti nel medesimo edificio, ciò ha consentito la possibilità di ritrovarsi tutti insieme nell'appartamento più grande per le cene. ogni appartamento è dotato di tutti i confort ,la cucina, in particolare, è ben attrezzata. Pulizia impeccabile. La zona è molto tranquilla, per arrivare al mare in costiera,la strada è un po' lunghetta, ma questo si sa...è una caratteristica della zona.

Reviewed By Julie BThe Tramonti valley is peaceful and verdant, a welcome escape from the business and chaos of the coast road. The steep hillsides are clothed on terraces replete with vines and lemon trees (and home to some excellent lemoncello) so it's a great place to stay. The hotel drive is steep and winding but there is enough parking on the flat. The management appears young and rather too relaxed - no- one in reception to show us too our room until the chef who runs the restaurant came to our aid. The room was spacious with a balcony and a lovely view. It was clean and in good order except the fridge didn't work. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was minimal. No milk for cereal and we has to ask for some juice. The croissants were good but it was that or rolls pretty much. Not impressed. A plus was the excellent meal we had in the first floor restaurant, run as a completely separate business. 4 of us had a 3 course meal with huge delicious steaks and excellent wine for 97€, which we felt was great value. The locally made lemoncello was complementary. I would highly recommend eating here if you do stay here.

Reviewed By Simon FNot to be missed if you love peace and quiet as well as lovely food and drink! The hosts are truly lovely and the house is family run. They have several rooms if you wish to stay the night, I went for dinner recently just to try a new place and boy I am glad that we did! Lovely place surrounded by woods and greenery, super setting and the food was superb, all for 20 Euro each!! We will surely return....
