WORST HOTEL STAY
Reviewed By Sunz Suniza HI chose this hotel because of the location near to most tourist attractions in Ayer Keroh. I paid RM293.50 x2 Deluxe Room since I asked for a connecting door room for my teen. Room has 1 queen bed 1 single bed but it was too small a deluxe type of room. Perhaps 3 feets walking area between beds & wall. Basic amenities. But my worst nigtmare, there was NO IRON inside the room. Claimed to be a 4 star rated hotel but no iron? We’re in 2022 & there’s still hotel doesn’t provide in room ironing set. The hotel has placed a shared iron at the far end of the corridor to be shared amongst all rooms on the floor. And there was NO hook or cloth rack to put our cloth during ironing session. I’ve to hang my blouse at the exit door knob. Just imagine guests at the opposite ends meee to go out just to use the iron. And the hotel took advantage by offering an ironing service for those guests that they called “lazy” to iron. Yes, I would opt for this option since they didn’t provide iron inside the room & I don’t trust the shared iron not to burn my silk & satin blouses & scarves. So I called 0 to request for ironing service and the staff told me they had no staff to do it ?? please bear in mind I went there during weekends and they should expect more guests during this time. Breakfast on the next day also worst. Breakfast time is from 7am-10am. My family came down around 8:45am, still early in my opinion. But there was no cereal bowl left on the counter. No plate left on the main menu counter. Staff didn’t check or topup all those crockery. Breakfast spread was okay. Nothing much to expect. 2 types of Cereals, breads, omelette, mee soup, nasi lemak, fried noodle, salads & porridge. Baked bean & chicken slice was gone and wasn’t refill. Tbh, I will avoid this hotel in future.

Bad Service Ever!
Reviewed By moezsurayaWe checked in late at midnight as we were en route from Johore to Kl. When we arrived there was nobody at the reception and no bellboy to assist us with our luggage. Room bedsheet has stains & toilet smells bad. Staff is no where helpful at all! We requested half hour late checkout as we arrived late at 1am but staff harassing us to clear the room asap! No consideration at all as we we’re travelling with an injured person! Will never come back here again!

Reviewed By esquire838Seri Malaysia (government incentive) hotels is a franchise of affordable family hotel that gives value of money. The one in Ayer Keroh Melaka is meant for the touristy Ayer Keroh area with surrounding tourist attractions. Now that Ayer Keroh’s novelty is lacking from its heydays (its been 3 decades), the area lacks visitors. Seri Malaysia could do with a complete makeover as it is well located and has large grounds and good traditional architecture. But here lies the dilemma, franchisee cannot afford the huge refurb cost so it remains as it is. Some rooms have been refurbished with carpet and drapes changed but the old fixtures are still there that takes back to its glory 30 years back. Common (not in room) ironing facilities and self service laundry machines. Service is lacklustre (the staff do try to do their best, mind you) maybe due to low morale because of sparse occupants. Food is so so. With tourism struggling, there are many hotels that offer low rates to survive. It is the buyers market. Seri Malaysia may not be able to offer any lower rates but they can attract with better quality service and restaurant, perhaps with bundled tourist products and meeting package.

Queen bed too small
Reviewed By poyen9977Booking family room. The room is big but the queen bed is small for two person..not recommended for those coming with big family. There is a sofa inside the room but i think it is more useful if it is sofa bed.
