Sheroes Hangout

Sheroes, here, are mostly women who have fought back for life and survival through heinous chemical burns and are now, on a course to define themselves as 'fighters'. Courageous fighters who walk with scars. And this Hangout is where empowerment of women no more remains a widely funded phenomena, but materialises in form of a readers' cafe, an activism workshop, a community radio hub.

Absolutely heart breaking to hear stories from girls who has faced acid attack. It was my second time here and this is definitely the place I want to support every time I’m visiting Agra! No doubts! You should too!☝️ Delicious food and super friendly service as you can already imagine. Food & drinks are donation based. There is no pricing in the menu. My advice; be generous. Don’t count your pennies in here! They really need all help they can get.❤️ You will see a video where girls are telling their stories. Beware to cry.... and then you understand what I’m talking about. Very emotionally experience. Love❤️

This is my fifth visit for Hi - Tea in Tea Lounge in Taj Palace. Mr. Vinod is the person to approach for any request. He knows the personal interest for the guests who have visited the lounge. I generally visit once in a year still he recognizes me at the first glance. The best place to be for an Indian or Continenetal Hi-Tea selection. Best to come yet, the staff in Taj does not just want their sales, they want to educate people also. So if you order in access without understanding the portion size, they inform you the same. They will always suggest to re-order if required. This is really great service where they are concerned about the guests as well.
