Arvey the host is just amazing. Friendly, nice and funny. What makes this trip so unique is the 3 different modes of transportation you will probably never have experienced before! Including Brujita, Garrucha and Willy Jeep. Also, Arvey makes it so safe with a support van following you. Even though the bike ride is not technical, if at any moment you are tired you can easily get in the van! This was by far the most authentic, unique and adventurous trip we had in Colombia BY FAR!

What an experience thanks to Bruce and his outstanding guides! So glad we came. *Apparently TA doesn't like the word Spouse but that's who traveled with me. :-)

We wanted to spend two weeks in Colombia touring Bogota, Medellin, and Cartagena. After reviewing several sites, and offers from various companies, we selected Bruce McLean as our tour organizer. We made a wise choice. Bruce organized a series of tours, all of which were perfect in every detail. We were not the easiest people to deal with, because we wanted certain things on certain dates, etc. Bruce offered to arrange everything, but we wanted to make our own flight and hotel arrangements. Bruce asked to review our choices, and made some astute and wise recommendations to change some of the hotels. He was absolutely correct in every case. We strongly recommend tours organized by Bruce. He has access to the best guides (like Erika in Medellin, as mentioned by another reviewer).

Close to Pereira, there are experiences that highlight two major attractions of the region, the Coffee Cultural Landscape and thermal springs. This tour starts at Finca del Café walking through beautiful coffee plantations trails teaching you how is the coffee process from sowing, next selective hand-picking and de-pulping process. After a brief lunch break, you can select some of the alternatives of Santa Rosa de Cabal, where Chorizo (sausage) stands out. We arrive at the thermal springs of Santa Rosa, to enjoy its paths, its imposing waterfall and take advantage of therapeutic properties hot Springs, in a scenario where you will be surrounded by a green clouded forest and at times fogged, that gives a romantic aspect to this beautiful place of Risaralda.

When visited the Cocora Valley, I got surprised for the charges to visit the place, I have to add that rules whereas nearby extinguished animal like “Condor” and “Colobris” are at risk as many users take drones to have better pictures and films. Individuals that do not visit the park with guides often abuse the basic rules of respect and cleanness. Supposed Guides are accomplishing the rules, nor protecting animals, the payment of the entry fee is not an added value for the National reserves of Colombia. The main area off the Valle del Cocora is privately owned and from national interest, but it is a shame if you add that the Palma de Cera’s natural habitat is not there only but more in the forest of the cordillera of Colombia
