The beach at Blundell Sands is one of Liverpool’s best kept secrets. There’s plenty of space to park and the views accros the Mersey estuary of Wales are amazing. Wonderful

We headed stayed at southport especially to see the statues on Crosby beach .They are worth the visit .Came at low tide on a rainy day to watch the statues disappear. Worth the visit .Large carpark and dog friendly and motorhome friendly . Nice walk on sands with dog then sitting in motorhome watching the tide slowly making them disappear. Great

West Kirby Beach

We spent the afternoon here and absolutely loved it. Walked around the marine first during which jumped down the rocks onto the beach. The beach was so lovely, clean and plenty of space to socially distance which everyone adhered to. Children said its the best day out they’ve had in ages. There are dogs on the beach but I didn’t see any mess, did see some of the prom but just swerved it. Lifeguards up and down the beach too which was nice to see. Will definitely be returning.

No matter what time of year this place is just perfect. Soft sand, cliff walks, stunning views, picnic area, bbq facilities, great café (covid secure and fantastic ice cream). Don't tell too many people we wouldn't want it to get too busy!

Formby Beach

Plenty of space to get out enjoy nature and fresh air during Covid restrictions. Felt exhilarated after climbing up the dunes. Ideal for dogs to have a good run on the beach and in the sea. Car park looks to have reduced capacity to help with social distancing. Toilets were open. Had the most delicious cappuccino from a kiosk and resisted the temptation of the sausage butties on offer. Remarkable is the lack of litter.
