On the right side of the mouth of the Isonzo there is a tongue of earth covered with a thick cane: the Dog. We are right in the heart of the Isonzo's Nature Reserve, in a fairly young area created by the solid springs of the river, bathed by the fresh water of the Soča to the north and the salty water of the sea to the south. A place of peace, where let the thoughts slide quietly following the waves of seagulls and canyons, where to lose hours of observation of the light games between the canes or the dances of the sea swallows. A hot tea in the hands and the scent of the sea in the nostrils.
Perfect location, clean rooms but cold people and modest food
Reviewed By bogdan444My wife and me have staid in this hotel two times this summer. It is located near two small national parks for birds watching. We have photographing there. Location of the hotel is 5 km outside the villages near the bicycle routs. Outside look shows the house to be very old. But rooms are clean and modern equipped. We didn't decide to book for half board, because it's 20€ more expensive than bed and breakfast. It's far more expensive than supper in restaurants in Grado. And it's ordered just for booked guests. The breakfast is modest: two sorts of salami, boiled eggs, honey, jam, butter, yogurt. You could not get cheese. The bread was only white. The most strange of everything is, that the receptor is so cold, that you couldn't get even one smile. It's very strange for Italy, country of kind people.

Might be remote for many tourist (when you are Less than one kilometer away from the Eslovenian Border! ) But if you like to adventure into Grado in the Adriatic Sea or cross the border or go to historical Gorizia ! A weekend in advance ! Big Suite is your best choice plus if you are a wine lover !sip some wine ! Signora Patrizia and her family are very accommodating plus our breakfast was still served late at 10 am ! They made us feel like at home plus I had great time to taking my wife there to for the first time ! ! Casa Zuani has also great wines to taste and enjoy if you ask in advance get a quite table in your balcony and couple of glasses of wine ! Enjoy the views ! Cozy and great aromas of winemaking ( the make wine in the back of the house ) Cada Zuani is your place if you decide to visit the Collio Wine Country ! Family own and great hospitality !! As Signora Patrizia would say we are not a restaurant here ! But you can have a great sleep in the hills of FRIULI !! Napoleon in the past used to call this part of The garden of Europe ! A wine country experience ! Only 5 rooms ! Very cute place !!

Lovely hotel with a superb panorama
Reviewed By ajt_austriaWe stayed here whilst hiking along the Alpe Adria trail. It is a beautiful place on the hill above Cormons with terrific views over the surrounding area. The rooms all have great views too. The owner is super friendly and does everything he can to make your stay a pleasant one. It’s a couple of km from the centre, and we even got a free lift in from the hotel. It’s a quiet location and we all had a solid nights sleep. Breakfast was also super. It’s a lovely place and the owner makes it special.

Reviewed By AlessiaeSamuelesiamo stati in questa struttura per 2 notti. la struttura è molto bella, le camere nuove , con wifi ottimo e un bel parcheggio si dorme immersi nelle vigne del collio... una bellissima sensazione di libertà. colazione semplice ma ampiamente sufficiente : yogurt, succhi di frutta, croissant, pane, salumi e formaggio, cornflakes e latte tutto delizioso. abbiamo decido di provare anche la degustazione del loro vino : il collio non delude mai! Andrea è una persona piacevole e si vede che ama il suo lavoro. ci ha raccontato il loro vissuto e la storia della loro cantina con dedizione e passione. i loro vini sono piacevoli ed esprimono tutta la mineralità e i sapori che questo territorio esprime, e Andrea riesce a spiegarli ottimamente. ci siamo sentiti a casa. grazie . Che dire ... PROVARE PER CREDERE
