Reviewed By R4223WKpeterhWithout a doubt, Frank's place was the most fun I have ever had. It was even better than watching Indiana Jones robbing graves and tombs, and the atmosphere was worth the 88 hour, 4,600 mile drive. The other patrons were pleasant to be around as well.

Beyond being an excellent guide , he showed us the real side of Morocco and that's worth a lot , the Best experience that we had is the Camel ride in the desert ,this is the highlight of the whole trip ,we want to thank everyone who made our trip unforgattable. Reviewed By E4325VZkeithmThe room was cozy, comfortable and clean with hot and cold running water and a fridge -- which is all you need when most of the time there is spent under the palapa enjoying the ocean view and the ocean breeze, mingling with other guests at this small and cozy resort. Ron and Michelle were terrific hosts that would bend over backwards to ensure their guests have a great stay. We arrived as strangers and left several days later as friends.

Reviewed By Trek816744The ladies at this hotel are amazing. I can’t say enough about them. They have built this place from the ground up and it shows. They are eco conscious, and they built it on a piece of land with a perfect view of volcán Baru from your room. Lorraine is a trained chef and her mother gives the most amazing coffee tour from start to finish, you make your own coffee. They were so accommodating and drove us everywhere we needed to go, took us hiking, showed us what living in boquete was really like. It’s rustic and the perfect escape from the city. You have to stay with these ladies they will be the reason you come back to boquete.

Boca Chica is the main door to take advantage of this incredible an archipelago that is the Gulf of Chiriqui, in fact a series of tours are organized from this small fishing village to be able to visit most of these wonderful and different islands. Simple "picnics of the sea", snorkeling, "animalwatching", diving up to real sports fishing jokes and much more !!! David is 33 km from the ResidenciaDeLaMarina, while Las Lajas (another major tourist destination) is 39 km away. The nearest airport is David's Enrique Malek, 30 km from the ResidenciaDeLaMarina. The ResidenciaDeLaMarina offers a private taxi service on request, and service to and from the David Airport. The city of David offers all the main services ATM point Hospital Bus Terminal Restaurants and luxury shopping centers

Reviewed By E3734MYaprilkOriginally booked a one night stay but ended up staying a total of 3 nights because the hosts were so nice and accommodating until we checked out and the male owner lost his cool after being questioned about the charges we had to pay and lied about the prices of dinner, failed to let us know that every time you ask for a clean towel it’s 5 dollars, we asked for laundry with line dry only (according to their listed price was $5) but they used the dried without our knowledge and charged us $10 instead - clothes were damped by the way. There’s no hot water (standard in Panama) room full of cobwebs and windows broken so mosquitoes were unavoidable in the room. When I asked for breakdown of charges he got upset and started accusing me that I’m calling him a liar and saying that $5 for a towel should not be a big deal to me like I shouldn’t worry because it’s only $5. Again it’s the nickel and diming and surprise charges that’s the problem. So be prepared for surprise charges, 2nd hand smoke, and possibly a very angry Italian. Lara the wife is very nice and sweet.

Fantastic Hostel near Center of Boquete
Reviewed By SkullbotrockMy girlfriend and I had a wonderful time staying here. The two hosts were wonderfully inviting and treated us as a member of their own family. They gave us recomendations for restaurants and activities and even drove us to the bus when it was time to leave. Overall they went above and beyond to ensure we had a fabulous time in Boquete.

Reviewed By PadinetoneLa personne à l'accueil est gentille et tres aidante et souriante. En revanche les chambres ne sont pas grandes, une petite fenêtre qui ne s'ouvre pas donnant sur le couloir. Pas d'eau chaude. Heureusement sur le parking privé il y a deux tables sur lesquelles ont peut sortir un peu de ce confinement. En revanche pas de jardin comme indiqué. Porte en fer pour chaque cellule ce qui fait énormément de bruit à chaque entrée ou sortie de la chambre. Une activité quelque peu douteuse dans cet hôtel que je conseille pas. Certes pas cher du tout mais vu les prestations proposées le prix est adapté
