Lovely camping experience

Reviewed By luusjeanette

We camped for 2 nights with family. The fact that each camp site have it's own bathroom is a nice plus. The sites is mostly in the shade and the grass is neatly cut. Because there is only 4 sites, make this so peaceful and quiet for everyone. We did not use it, but saw that there is a small menu with pizza and toasties which I think is brilliant. Please just keep some milk and maybe bread in your little shop for people staying long that do not want to drive all the way in to Hazyview. I can recommend this for any person looking for a beautiful place to camp.

Fantastic one night stay

Reviewed By MurdenS

We only got a one night stay rather than two as planned due to a flight change and on arrival we were so disappointed we weren’t staying longer! Although it was raining, the location and facilities are stunning and we had such a warm welcome from all of the staff. Having stayed in another hotel where the food wasn’t great, we were so pleased to have such a lovely meal in a cosy setting, the food was great. On return to our room, the team had run a bath and decorated for our honeymoon with a bottle of champagne on chill and a fruit platter which was a lovely touch. Would recommend to all and just gutted we didn’t get to stay longer!

Most welcoming and inviting staff

We stayed here for ten nights in feb/March and I have no bad words to say about the place ! We where out on trips most of the time but they where always accommodating ! If we had early safaris they would do us breakfast packs and bring it the night before, they always asked if we where ok and needed anything , we where upgraded for free and also where given a complimentary bottle of wine and champagne as well as fruit baskets , they also decorated our bathroom on our last night ! I am a vegetarian and found the meals unique and tasty (I’m a fussy veggie to so it takes a lot for me to try something new ) but everything was amazing ! The room was always tidy and cleaned to a high standard and the areas where also clean Everything about this holiday has been amazing and I would recommend !

The hotel is still undergoing an upgrade after being closed for a number of years. There are no TV's in the rooms which is not great at all. There is also no backup power supply in the rooms in the event of load shedding and we had to sit in the dark. Also, the meals are very average and requires some work.
