I got in touch with Emerald Cruises several months ago, as I wanted to a unique, special way to propose when I got to Sardinia. Although I’d initially emailed several companies, Emerald stood out as they seemed to truly care and I felt like I could trust them. Daniele got in touch with ideas, detailed plans and remained in constant communication. He put a plan together which was specifically for me and exactly what I wanted for my proposal. When we arrived in Sardinia, he and his assistant greeted us at the dock and helped us on board. The boat was beautiful. He played the songs that I’d chosen and took us to a remote beach, as I wanted to be somewhere away from people. The beach was perfect, empty and he had set up a picnic blanket, ready for when he brought us our drinks. After the proposal, I said that I’d wanted to see the sunset. They drove the boat so that we were facing west (so we had the perfect view) and prepared dinner for us, which was incredibly well presented and tasted amazing. Later on, he drove us back and dropped us outside of our hotel. Not once did I feel rushed or like I was being a pain, even though I was! I wanted everything to be perfect and not only did he never make me feel bad for that, he made it happen. I cannot thank them enough and could not recommend them more.

Wow. What an experience. We booked through our hotel on recommendation from the manager - the trip didn’t disappoint. Very Quick Summary - Book this tour. Knowledgable, friendly and hospitable guides who were adhering to COVID-19 guidelines and made the truly amazing. Longer summary: The captain Alessandro spoke great English and communicated to us the day before (via WhatsApp) to make sure we would get to the Port all OK. As a matter of fact, the assistant sailor (name I can’t remember) was fantastic and met us at a roundabout near to the port as the main road was closed nearby. Upon making our way to the port, we were greeted by the captain, had a health and safety briefing and were on our way. A midday aperitivo (traditional Sardinian snacks and refreshments) followed by a stop of at the most magnificent bay, was followed by a cool off and jump off into the sea. We then went to some fantastic islands (names I can’t remember) which included some more swimming and a boat trip to visit the most amazing beaches I’ve ever seen! Once complete, we had an amazing pasta lunch accompanied by wine beer and soft drinks. On the way back, we got to see the catamaran move via sail, an amazing experience. Thanks Alessandro and team. We booked a journey to visit the archipelago of La Maddalena. The places we have visited were wonderful, beaches were nice. But there is several touristic boats going at the same places at the mean time so the beaches were crowded. The last stop at La Maddalena city center is very short, and 1 hour is not a lot to do a lot of things. Last thing, we book the journey with our hotel, on the flyer, it was writtent that a lunch on board was supposed to be offered, but when we boarded, they gave us a new flyer saying that no lunch was provided, it was too late for us to buy something to eat. The team was nice. The captain explains a lot of things in Italian, and his colleagues translates it a bit, but not everything so we got confused several times.

Matteo conducted this tour for myself and another solo traveller. It was very interesting and Matteo is very knowledgeable and was flexible to suit the types of things we wanted to see on this tour. Matteo spoke English very well and also injected plenty of humour into his dialogue! We finished the day at a fantastic agroturismo restaurant and Matteo was able to describe the dishes and local customs to us. We had a great day and wouldn't hesitate to recommend both Matteo and the tour!

First, the boat (the Blue Magic) is very comfortable. You can find on this boat of 49 feet everything you need. We had the biggest room with my wife, my sons (9 et 5 years old) were in a smallest one together but sufficient. Then Bobo, the skipper : very nice with all of us, very funny too. He's a very good skipper, very safe. No one had seasickness on board and i'm sure Bobo was the key with very sweet navigations every day. Giusy, Bobo's wife, took care of us every single minute of the cruise with so much kindness and sweet attentions. She's a very good diver and if something has to be observed under the see, she sees it at each time ! So impressive. She's a very good cooker, her coffee Moka is delicious obviously with a dozen of Molinetti cookies ;-) The cruise took us from Santa Maria Navarrese and Ogliastra to the North of Magdalena archipel and then we came back to Olbia. Very nice trip, just one day off nav because ok thunderstorms. So much marvelous sites, calas, snorkel spots, and fun. We've lived with them so easily ! To conclude, it was like paradise during a week. Bobo and Giusy are the perfect hosts. I can assure you we'll be back on board soon for Sardinia west coast cruise on the Blue Magic with both of them. Further more, 2 painful moments during the cruise : the minute you get back in your pants after a week on board living in a swimsuit (like to be in jail), and the time to say goodbye to Bobo an Giusy because they became a part of our family :-(( Last advice : 2 swimsuits, 2 T-shirts, 2 shorts for each person on board is enough for the entire week, so forget trolley and all the unuseful stuff you usually take on vacation
