This is a must, always something to see. A true wildlife haven. In the summer the terns and the grey seals. In winter the wildfowl and turnstones, if you are lucky scoters can be seen. All year there are ringed plovers and comorants. Butterflies and summer insects. And a great place for dogs too. In summer they are not allowed on the shingle bank but are allowed elsewhere.

Would just like to say thank you to all the staff for the lovely welcome and a great two night in a beautiful warm cozy cottage and the lakes are filled with lots of fish. It’s a beautiful quiet area and can’t wait to go back in February xx
