Reviewed By ETerryPWe really enjoyed our stay at Forest Suites! The owner/manager was very friendly and hospitable, full of great advice about the area and very welcoming to our children. The family suites are comfortable if you are traveling with kids. The hotel was very clean, warm and up-to-date and served a delicious breakfast each morning with local and/or homemade foods. The hotel is also perfectly located for exploring the area. Highly recommend!

Pleasant and comfortable accommodation with breakfast, plasma TVs, hydromassage and toiletries kit. In our guestrooms, free internet available, movies-music, board games and mountain bike! Reviewed By tuvloThe view was great, staff was very kind and helpful and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast could be better. We bought some eggs to improve it for a local shop, given we had an equipped kitchen. We asked for a pan, we were told that we will receive it but it never came. Also the fireplace, when used, it filled the room with smoke. (I checked if the lid was open) could be better but it was ok

Everlasting charm
Reviewed By TassosPngWhen the hotel first opened in the early ‘90s, it created an instant sensation. And still, renovated a few times already, it retains its charm, remaining a landmark in the serene and beautiful Megalo Chorio. It is a quaint venue, but stylish, in a somehow maximalist manner. The rooms are spacious, with independent entrances and are extended around and above the reception hall, where also the homemade breakfast is served. This “lobby” hall is open for bar or food service only for a few hours per day, but still, it is an option for a snack or coffee, as there are no many other alternatives around. Surely, one of the choices I would consider, if again in the area.

Reviewed By Bobbe TArchontopetra is at Megalo Chorio Karpenisi. It is a very personal ,small hotel with beautiful views. The suites are large and nicely decorated and with a fireplace . Bed linen and towels of a very high standard. My Spyros , the owner is very hospitable and friendly. Efi and Yiannis the hotel s personnel are very obliging. Archontopetra is strongly recommended!!!

Very satisfying
Reviewed By Elli NThe owners are very friendly and helpful, the view is fantastic, there is a parking lot 50 meters away and breakfast is ok. The rooms are very clean, there is a baby crib on demand but no baby chair at the restaurant. Would stay there again.
