Reviewed By Cristina1067Un hotel semplice e pulito, la camera forse un po' datata ma dove non manca nulla e tutto funziona perfettamente; grande gentilezza e familiarità del personale, prezzo adeguato. Abbiamo anche usufruito dell'ottimo ristorante e della spa, moderna, pulitissima, con tisane e frutta secca. A noi questo hotel è piaciuto molto, ci siamo sentiti i benvenuti!

A lovely homely stay in the heart of Italian beauty
Reviewed By Veronica MWe will never forget our stay at Silenzio e Buio (Silence and Darkness) in Liguria. The owners are an extremely nice and friendly elderly couple. I am an Italian native speaker, so I had no linguistic barriers whatsoever and could enjoy very interesting and deep conversations every evening with the owners, but even if you do not speak the language you will always find them smiling, outgoing and caring. They will surely be happy to recommend you the best places to visit. We felt really comfortable in this little, isolated house in the heart of the Ligurian mountains. Everything here is so clean, warm, traditional, intimate. The food is delicious: traditional home-made Ligurian recipes with healthy and high quality ingredients. I highly recommed you to try at least one dinner at Silenzio e Buio, that Giorgio and Fernanda will cook specifically for you in their kitchen, and, of course, to have your breakfasts here. This kind of experiences make you feel like life is really worth living!

CODICE CITR:009017-AGR-0001 La Brinetta Farm Holiday has got four indipendent flats,one is structured for people with mobility problems.Every flat has got a private bathroom with shower and a kitchen (with fridge, a washing machine and and elettrical oven )where you can prepare your meals. Outdoors green areas are equipped with armchairs, chairs, tables and playground for kids. WIFI is free.
Fantastic Farm Apartment in Mountains
Reviewed By TravelPeterLa Brinetta has three apartments, two in the upper floor of a large converted farmhouse (and one away from the main building). We stayed for 10 days at the end of June. The apartment was brilliant. Modern bathroom, two bedrooms and kitchen dining room/lounge. Central heating in every room (which was in operation the first few days as the weather then was cool and wet). Kitchen included massive range of utensils and crockery, full stove and oven and fridge freezer; plus a wood-burning stove if you want extra heat/comfort. (only thing missing by British expectations was a toaster and kettle). No TV. Bathroom included a washing machine. Whole place very clean and high standard. The apartment has its own large terrace facing the forested hills, with table and sun bed, and is next to the other apartment (which was empty much of the time we were there). The owner Roberta was very friendly, generous with her help, and can speak English. The farm is just off of the road from Finale Liguri to Calizzano, but very quiet except Sunday when all the roads were busy (locals going on outings). Excellent value for money - for 10 days was less per day than their advertised rate. We booked directly with them and paid at the end of our stay. We travelled by hire car from Genova. The closest village is Calizzano 3K away, with shops and restaurants (no real supermarket - stock up when at the coast). We chose this location as we wanted somewhere for walking and close to the sea. Re walking, the Alta Via de Monte Liguri (long distance footpath) is 'nearby' with a 2 hour path from Calizzano (3K). There are other paths from Calizzano and nearby villages, e.g. 2 hour walks. Most are very poorly signposted if at all! Great place for finding Porcini mushrooms, even at end of June. The 'mountains' are about 1300m at their highest and mostly covered in trees (the whole area is very green). Re the seaside, it took us a strenuous 30 minutes drive to and from the closest beach along a very windy mountain road (often swathed in mist/cloud on the seaward side). Not something we wanted to do daily. The general vicinity (within ½ - 1½ hours drive) has lots to see e.g. mediaeval fortified villages, cave, national park. Alps are 2½ hours away. Summary: The apartment is great for a relaxing time.

Cortesia, qualità e pulizia al TOP!
Reviewed By giorgias430Io e mio marito abbiamo trascorso una notte in questo grazioso hotel e ci sentiamo di consigliarlo col cuore! Siamo arrivati in hotel piuttosto tardi (alle 22), scusandoci, ma il gentilissimo sig. Mauro ci ha accolto con la massima cordialità, facendoci sentire a casa! Saliti in camera, siamo stati subito favorevolmente colpiti dalla pulizia, e abbiamo dormito in un letto molto confortevole (c'era addirittura il copri-materasso, che spesso non si trova neppure in strutture più "stellate": per me 100 punti a favore!), mentre la mattina seguente siamo stati coccolati dalla carinissima Miriam, la giovane figlia del sig. Mauro, che ci ha servito prodotti locali e genuini (il pane viene fatto in casa da loro, con farine a km zero!), illustrandocene la provenienza, e accertandosi che tutto fosse di nostro gradimento... Insomma, seppur breve, è stato un soggiorno piacevolissimo... grazie, torneremo sicuramente, e manderemo anche gli amici!
