Chapel House is tucked away in the corner of the market square in historic Atherstone, Warwickshire, near Tamworth and Nuneaton. Set in a pretty walled garden, this mostly Georgian building offers warm, comfortably elegant rooms, good food and fine wines and the feeling of being welcomed as a guest in a gracious family home.
CH was a lovely venue for our wedding, especially the garden which includes a small 'woodland' area which was pretty with bluebells. Roast chicken dinner was tasty. The manager went out of her way to make it a special day for us. It works well for a small wedding lunch because you can have complete privacy and you have the flexibility and space of break out rooms and a garden. Thank you.

Book to stay at the lovely Red Lion hotel on long Street but was told that I have to stay above the Three Tuns, a pub notorious for drugs and crime in the next building. When I asked about this I was met with rudeness and hostility and told if I didn't like it I could stay elsewhere!! Also upon arrival to the Three Tuns was met with dirty plates and ripped up cardboard all over the floor and the smell of heroin in the hallways.

Very large pub that was very happy to accommodate our party of 14. Good service serving large menu of pub classics and specials board. The children menu was good , particularly the curry! Helpful and quick to respond to our requests . Plenty of staff.

Badly treated, iv been left to starve I can't wait till I'm back at home. I think that £180 for 3 nights is not worth it. They could have offered a sandwich or summat But iv been so hungry But jen didn't think of that.

Melanie’s communication was top rate!! I was called to reassure me that my room would be sanitised prior to arrival. Clear instructions on how to stay safe while staying at the property. Room was spotless on arrival! The tea and coffee tray was spotless and plastic cups hygienically wrapped. Very comfy bed and lovely decor. Location was perfect for us, although we had a car to get from A to B during the day. Atherstone Taxis were very accommodating when we needed them. Melanie also accommodated our early check-in needs. Overall, a little gem of a place.

Absolutely awful. The buffet was on a plain table. Beef chicken skewers corn on the cob three salads. Vastly overcharged no imagination I would have been embarased to serve that as a buffet salads were plain, I had to ask for mayonnaise just to give them some taste. Tiny rectangle of potato, I asked for another and was grudgingly given it

I found this Guesthouse during a last minute search for accommodation and how lycky was I. I stayed in room 2 and lived every minute of my stay. The Lady of the house was kind, warm, welcoming and accommodating. Not knowing the area the owners recommended a local pub where the food was lovely. I hope I get the opportunity to stay at the lovely guesthouse house again very soon. Thank you very much for making my stay like home away from home.
