A hidden gem and a great place to visit. I didn't know there was so many interesting artefacts and historical information. The staff/people are very polite and knowledgable. It's lot bigger than you think so if you go allow an hour or so to go around the centre.

Deciding on the day we fancied doing an escape room we booked Mission 60. We arrived slightly early which was fine and had our video brief. Lockers are available to pop belongings in. Then it was off to the room! We got through probably half of it before we hit trouble. Asking for a couple of hints and being given one or two when it was obvious we were struggling really helped. Typically the clues were so obvious. Proper doh! moments but it meant we didn’t waste time. We managed to escape with exactly 10 minutes to spare. A lot of fun! Thank you :)

Southsea Rose Garden

With the Covid lockdown beginning to ease we visited the Rose Gardens which look superb at present with many of the varieties in full bloom. It was already a popular area in mid morning, but social distancing was being well maintained and visitors included couples, families and individuals. The planting and maintenance cannot be faulted and the many shades and strong perfumes are a delight. There are many seats around the site with full sun and shade options. Well worth a visit and highly recommended.

No.6 Cinema

Reviewed By kealohaSouthsea

This unique cinema is based in Boathouse 6 of the Historic Dockyard in Portsmouth, and shows an eclectic and interesting programme of films which never reach the multiplexes. We loved it, the building is an architectural gem and the screen is enormous and apart from the film being brilliant one of the best things was that we could take our drinks into the film. A glass of wine and a great film....
