Traditional Tajik home stay member of the ZTDA home stay network, classified with 2, out of 3, juniper branches (classification system), located on the forth lake of the Seven Lakes area. This is the most visited home stay of the area. Service is impeccable here. I’m expanding my property and soon guests can have two stone cottages all on their own with all modern facilities inside.
Mixed feelings
Reviewed By FreddyLubin2016The three day stay was rather mixed. One one hand the farm is quite nice, as are the rooms. The toilet is squat, a bit far from the rooms, and not always clean. The family is nice, if a bit removed by Tajik standards, but okay. My biggest problem was the costs. The room and meals all went up, well beyond what's reasonable. The owner took us 9 km to the sixth lake, what I thought was a favor for guests, and added on another 200 somoni, totally a rip-off. This was the only time in Tajikistan that I thought that I was being taken advantage of. If the guy doesn't stop seeing tourists as a cash-cow, he won't stay in business.

Renovation has been made in 2011. From my house, nice, multi-day-hikes will take you to some of the best places of the Zerafshan Valley.
3. Marguzor

I’m a lumberjack and know all the trees and trails in the mountain around my place. I also work as a guide, I’ll be happy to show you my secret places.
4. Guldara

This is a good place to start a all-day-long, interesting hike up to the seventh lake. My house this year was elected the ZTDA cleanest homestay and won a price. My wife and daughters weave together with some neighbors the best carpets of the Region and make homemade souvenirs that are sold in Panjakent, Khujand and Dushanbe.
5. Gazza
