Very worthwhile visit as the rope way takes you up the mountain to the top,of the botanical gardens and you can easily walk back down enjoying the beautiful gardens and tea room etc.

Take the Cable CAR up for About 4-5 minutes and You get a great view over Kobe and Osaka. All over Osaka bay You Can even see the AirPort. Cable CAR is very clean. On top of mount Rocco there is a small café and You Can walk around for a while Before descending. You Shouf be able to walk Some satire while visiting to reach platform and viewpoint!

I don’t know why this is called a ‘rope way’ but it’s a cable car/tram like a ski resort. Very reasonable price and the view on top is very nice. The beautiful old temples halfway up is the ‘hidden gem.’ Pay the 300 yen and take off your shoes and go inside. Photos allowed ! People running the cable car and the temple docents are super nice and efficient.
