El Moro Motel and RV Park

Absolutely the WORST place in Loreto

Reviewed By zip98221

WiFi advertised by hotel does not work anywhere. Other guests me WiFi did not work for them either. Hotel advertised for available. Not true. I had to take my clothes to the laundry twice. I had food poisoning while in Loreto. I got two towels and two sheets dirty. Also, some my own shorts dirty. My shorts cleaned fine, but owner demanded that I pay $100 US. I have stayed in hotels all over the world without any problems. I usually do not write bad reviews. The owners of El Moro are the worst. You will be unhappy if you stay here. There are many other reasonably priced hotels in Loreto. You will have a happier vacation if you do. Don’t let El Moro ruin your Loreto vacation.

Hotel Brennan

Clean and comfortable

Reviewed By whippetmama

This property is like an old pair of slippets but in a good way. No frills and basic but very comfortable. And spotlessly clean The bed was very comfortable and both of us had a good nights sleep before heading out early for a great whale watching experience. Free cooked to order breakfast included. Only 3 stars because it is pretty dated - but in a comfy kind of way.

Hotel Don Gus

Always our favorite!

Reviewed By Fdelidude

First stay was in 1997! Yes, it’s not the Ritz! But always clean, comfortable and the staff is very friendly. I enjoy being the only Gringos on property! We come here to be off the tourist grid. Sad that folks who come to GN are only doing so to see the Whales. Lots more to Negro! We hope they get the road into town rebuilt soon!!

Fine place to stay

Try and get a room in the main building on the ground floor behind the check-in/reception office. Our travel mates stayed in the adjacent building and had a ton of chirping crickets in their ceiling. We were in Room 11. It was good and had no crickets.
