Great Place to stay in the Mountains of El Salto
Reviewed By Road64512331796The Sierra Madre Occidental of western Durango iss a fine example of Pine-Oak woodlands and this hotel is an ideal spot to explore the area. This hotel is located in El Salto proper and it is easy to find from the toll road Durango to Maztlan. The rooms are spacious and the separate Restaurant has a nice dinning room with a great selection of traditional Mexican plates. Safe parking is well off the main road. You can call the hotel directly to make your reservations. The staff and waitresses are friendly and very helpful answering your questions. A real find for the naturalist traveler.

Good place if you are not planning to stay long
Reviewed By martin mCan't really complaint a lot for the price, beds are hard as rock but if you are planning to be one night, this place is great. The windows are very thin and you end up hearing all the noises from the hall.

Reviewed By anaira1979Me gustó bastante porque es muy limpio y tiene muy buena ubicación. Descansé bastante bien. Lo único no tan bueno es, que las dos mujeres que estaban en la recepción, una el día que llegamos por la tarde, y la otra por la mañana, pareciera que están enojadas o no les gusta su trabajo. De ahí en fuera, todo bien.

Great location in the heart of the city for a great price!
Reviewed By JardindemichellePlease note that my rating is based on expectations for this class of hotel and my experience with others in the same class. This is an "economico" hotel and as such I have different expectations that at other hotels. The hotel is located only about 3 blocks from the main plaza in downtown Durango. The hotel is clean and the staff very friendly, especially when attempting to try and understand my poor Spanish. I stayed in a room on the 3rd floor that had a small private balcony and its own bath. The room had adequate furniture (small desk/dresser) and a small walk-in closet. Tile floors throughout. The hotel was very clean and stocked adequately.

Solo para dormir
Reviewed By pink_travel007Sino tienes otra opción, el hotel solo cumple con lo básico de los básicos. Una cama matrimonial, tv con cable y agua caliente. Ni mas ni menos. Para aire acondicionado, plancha de ropa, caja de seguridad y secadora de pelo tiene que pedirse y va con costo extra. Está cerca del centro a 5 minutos y es un hotel pequeño ubicado en una de las vías principales de Durango con mucha afluencia.
