Reviewed By DrsergeThe management has no interest in making the stay at least tolerable, let alone comfortable. Rooms 108-109 have no wifi signal. At first we were told that there is no wifi signal because we were probably using some outdated devices. Later on, the administrator took the courtesy of restarting the router which barely helped as in an hour the signal disappeared and never appeared again. One of the reasons we'd picked this particular hotel was the wifi, as one of our family members had to work online during the stay. The solution provided by the administrator was to work from the restaurant. Later they stated that they had solved our problem, which is not the case, as absent wifi is no way a guests problem but the poor IT infrastructure investment. On Saturday morning, the next-door neighbors started smoking something right under our rooms windows. Seeing open flames burning right under the room windows did not look save at all, but as we spent the whole day outside, we didn't make any fuss about it, hoping the grilling party would have ended by the time we come back. Which did not happen. At 7 pm the flames were still burning and the awful smell of burned grease and grey smoke made it impossible to even open the window to get some fresh air into the room. Please, note that there is no air conditioning in the rooms, so it was extremely at 30 degrees. Our attempt to bring the management attention to the matter led to a frustrating argument with the administration and management. The man working at the desk is arrogant to no end, he would not let you speak nor share your worries. According to him, everything was just fine, and for some reason the smoke filling our rooms was actually our problem, as they could not "stop people from having fun". The only solution which was thrown into the face of the family with a 4-year child, was to leave at 8 pm. Which we actually did, because driving at night in the mountains seemed less dangerous than staying in a smoke-filled room.

Reviewed By RDNB1111Great location and Nice appartments, we stayer with friends who also have 2 kids. We really enjoyed the house, garden and swimmingpool. Como lake is really close and Nice restaurants and shops also. Mauro the Owner is vers helpful and Nice for huis costumers. I highly reccomend this location!,

The rooms are new.Rent a canoe.Free wi-fi. The hotel is situated in a quiet location on the river Mera, between the oasis of Pian di Spagna and Lake Mezzola. The food is homemade, you can eat the typical specialties of the Lake.
One night stay beyond northern tip of lake como
Reviewed By DaisyChain12We stayed here in a triple room for one night. It is situated down a small road next to a river feeding into the top of Lake Como. We parked tucked into the side of the road near the hotel. The lady who checked us in didn't speak much English but was pleasant and helpful. The room was large as was the shower room and we had a lovely balcony with views of the river. Rooms and corridors were very modern and clean, plenty of towels and shampoo etc. breakfast was included and brought to your table. It included yogurts, rolls, meat and cheese and spreads. Coffee was lovely and strong and came with hot milk in a separate jug. Room price reasonable. As everywhere when checking in they wanted to take copies of your passports, I would have preferred if these could have been put somewhere secure as they were still on top of the copier later in the evening when I at least turned them face down. I did ask for a fan for our room, I was surprised they hadn't got air conditioning but maybe that is me being British and not dealing too well with the heat!

Very unfriendly staf
Reviewed By SaskiaV120First time on this camping. Booked a mobile home. When we arrive we found out that the mobile home was overbooked. If we didn’t mention it the reception lady wouldn’t have said a word about it and just book us to a bungalow (which is totally not the same) Even no excuse for the mistake........ After two days the right mobile home which was nice, clean and lovely view over the lake. Only bad thing was the garbage collection at 6 in the morning several times a week....... Checking out the same reception lady was really unfriendly, wanted a form (she never mentioned we should have that) and kept saying to us that she told us. Well we both are 1000% sure she didn’t and I think it is really rude to talk to costumers that way.

Amazing location but low room standard
Reviewed By alettaannaThe place as a whole is definitely worth a visit, thanks to the location and not the hotel however. The rooms are quite worn down and the beds have seen their best days. The overall simplicity is a bit charming and suitable with the location considered.

Reviewed By Mary LWe find ourselves being a repeat customers! This place has all the comforts of home. Mama Angela creates the most mouthwatering pasta dishes and delicious dessert! The atmosphere is welcoming from the moment you walk in till the moment you leave. Comfortable beds in a spotless room ( very clean and neat) The father and the son serve the tables and speak many languages. Plenty of parking in a safe neighborhood. You should make a reservation soon.
