Luxury apartment and good food
Reviewed By Marc BWe had a warm welcome as well from staff as owner. Apartment was new,very clean and spacious. Very nice bathroom with modern shower. We stayed for lunch , had grilled ribs and they where surprisingly tasteful. As it was my birthday we had an excellent wine and cake in the room. Also breakfast was more than ok. Staff was very friendly and helpful. If I have to stay in the neighborhood I would go back.

Reviewed By Veronika RPenzion Racibor je rodinný penzion vedle ski areálu. Přijeli jsme po 20h, i když už byla kuchyně zavřená, udělali nám smažený sýr s hranolky. Pokoje jsou čisté, dostatečně zařízené. Překvapil nás ski areál - plně zasněžovaný svah s čtyřsedačkovou lanovkou. Můžu doporučit.

Stopover in Orava
Reviewed By Ivana HVery nice family run venue, right under the Orava castle, offering the beautiful view. The place is new (or freshly renovated), very clean and for a very reasonable price. Definitely recommend when visiting Orava castle

Beautiful area
Reviewed By David KI was with a group of 6 relatives and stayed three nights. Our grandparents came from two villages very near here and we wanted to see what the area was like and if there if we could find any "cousins" (we did!). Since this is a very remote area, and the price was very low, I did not have great expectations. It appears that the pension was fairly recently remodeled. The wood is beautiful, Everything was meticulously clean. A pleasant surprise. We had a view of the castle out a skylight. The castle was a 5 minute walk from the pension. I (vegetarian) and my daughter (vegan) had limited but adequate choices. The rest loved the food and we all loved the beer. Unlike other reviews, we had the choice of coffee for breakfast. There is a cafe across a small street, also. The staff did not speak a lot of English, but were friendly and helpful and we had no problems. A beautiful part of Slovakia. Be aware that this is a pension in a remote area: rooms are not cleaned daily, no elevator, no 24 hour staff

Reviewed By Makar GWe haven't stayed here, just stopped for a quick bite and totally fell in love about cacao pancakes with ice cream and raspberry sauce. Restaurant is very clean, well served despite the girl was alone and worked as a waitress and bartender at once. After disappointing lunch in Reštaurácia pod hradom, Palatin was a ray of light.

Forgac tourist hostel is situated in the beautiful surroundings of Orava, in the village of Oravsky Podzamok near the forest. Surroundings offers visitors year-round wide range of hiking, biking and pleasant walking environment. In winter, we will delight the lovers of skiing since the chalet located near the Ski Racibor. We offer our guests comfortable accommodation at very competitive rates. For guests we have prepared 7 rooms with a total capacity of 35 people. You can choose among one triple bedrooms, five and one five-bed rooms sedemlozkovej. For guests are available in the cottage shared bathroom facilities. In the area there are also a fully equipped kitchen to prepare delicious meals. For guests relaxation and rest is used in the kitchen also common room with TV and satellite. The cottage guests can use the grassy area with the possibility of playing various sports games. The area also houses a large fireplace. Parking is available directly at the object.
