Great apt. for hiking the region
Reviewed By uri_fiHotel Alkistis is situated close to the Diakopto cog rail which is a great hub for hiking the nearby Vouraikos gorge. The apt we received was very spacious and well equipped (although it would benefit from a few fix ups). The hotel has a nice little pool and offers a basic breakfast. It is located 100 meters from the beach and a few nice restaurants.

Good cleaning of rooms Medium breakfast and food even though there are many choices and big quantities. Small and with not rich menu bar. Children activities ( horse riding, swimming pools, tennis and basketball courts, etc) Closets and desk in rooms need renovation. Hot water comes with low pressure because of the instantaneous water heater. Near the sea.

Reviewed By marcinkO3220NBWe stayed two night at the hotel. Theasi is not just a hotel, is a place of friendly atmosphere. The hosts are very friendly. If you looking for a peacefull place, with a most amazing view this is the best what you can find on Peloponnese. There is only 10 minmutes drive to Diakopto and to the beach.

Stayed with my daughters for two days to explore the surroundings ; Nice clean and comfotable rooms , with all amenities, great view to the sea and across to snowy mountain tops. Clean and fresh towels every day !! We did enjoy our dinner of typical greek dishes. Best value for money. P.S. From my experience I do not to take in consideration reviews with the minimum { or maximum} of scale.

High quality furnishings, design and equipment
Reviewed By ValAthens_GreeceWe were very surprised at the standard within the hotel/apartments. It was very clean and well appointed. French/Italian chic. There was no view except onto someone else's balcony and other back yards. Generally the surroundings were nothing to look at. We were there for a specific reason so it didn't really matter to us. The "breakfast" which was "included" was a small packet of zwieback, some small jars of honey/jam and butter and two sandwiches put in from the day before. The coffee had expired. We were really disappointed about this as in the description it had stated that it provided local specialities and products. Beautiful bedroom with robes and slippers but the pillows were like rocks.Modern bathroom with whirlpool bath but no shower curtain , hence the water went everywhere. Nice selection of Korres toiletries which are Greek made and very good. Outside elevator, which was surprising and helpful. No expense was spared on the making of this building. Still considering the surroundings, it was overpriced.

Reviewed By Gsoy19It's a basic hotel with a basic price. Excellent service and daily room cleaning. The rooms are clean and property is well maintained. I believe it's a family business. Easy parking and a good location between the train station and beach.

Reviewed By mrjohnathanOur staying there was absolutely beatiful, me, my wife and our 2 kids, we will surely visit Kythira again, the hosts were very friendly and their kids were too, they offered a bicycle to our 10 year old son for free, I would recommend to anybody to visit this beautiful island and this adorable hotel.The owner Sofia, was very hospitable, the view was fantastic, the rooms were very clean.?
