Reviewed By Amanda Oliver FMyself and my partner returned to Al Castello after staying there last year. This year we stayed for 2 nights, Thursday and Friday in the run up to the Moto GP in Mugello. We fell in love with Tavullia, not just for Valentino Rossi, but for the charming, beautiful town itself. Al Castello is the perfect place to stay, right in the centre of the town, a minutes walk from the bars and shops. Our room was very tidy and cool with added touches such as complimentary water, tea, coffee, biscuits and sweets. Our host Michele was very friendly and even went the extra mile to wash some of my partners clothes as he had ridden on his motorbike from the UK. We will definitely return to Al Castello it is fantastic!! Thank you Michele for your hospitality.

Reviewed By Ivan PArrived really late but it wasn't a problem. Lovely room and all the features one would expect. The owner even asked asked us what we wanted for breakfast and what time we would like to have it, a nice touch. The room layout is spacious with air con and lots of literature to read, including Valentino Rossi which is the main reason for our stay. My only small issue was being unable to fit in the bathroom as the ceiling was very very low. Being 6ft tall was impossible. Breakfast was lovely and they did look after us. Would certainly recommend.

Excellent base for Tavullia!
Reviewed By melooarnieLoved staying here as I'm a huge Rossi fan! It was a welcome sight when we arrived as it was raining cats and dogs! The lovely owner greeted us, we were early as we wanted to watch the British motoGP race in bar central - thankfully even though it was only 11am the rooms were ready so we could go in an peel off all the wet clothes! Loved the Rossi themed rooms and it was warm and comfortable, if a little eccentric on the decor! Nice & close to Rossi's restaurant and the fan club. There was ample parking for the bikes and places to hang our gear up around the room. Great place to stay, breakfast was extra but Rossi's place just up the hill does breakfast too so you have a choice. Very nice owner, she couldn't do enough for us. (She only takes cash so make sure you have enough euros). Typically the motoGP race was cancelled due to the bad weather in the UK but it was still a great day - ate at the Rossi pizzeria that night which was superb & we were so close it was on our doorstep.

Reviewed By Tom975478Stayed here en route to Tavullia which is about a mile down the road.Very smart accomadation in an annexe of the farm house, separate from the main building.Staff very friendly,communicating easily.Room with bathroom for three people ,large double bed and a campbed which was a little disappointing.Room was Clean and tidy,bathroom smart and modern.Initially had problem locating the premises . It is situated approximateley 30 metres from a restaurant about a mile outside Tavullia.Find the Restaurant and your not far away.Plenty of Parking .We walked up to the restaurant for a fabulous meal but take a torch it's very dark.Breakfast was continental and plenty of it,a great place to stay, close to Tavullia if you want to get up early and beat the crowds at the Rossi Shop in Tavullia on Misano Race day .I would stay here again if I were going to Tavullia but would be a bit quiet otherwise.

Reviewed By JC2724My wife and I stayed at Mary al Tramonto Rosso with Alberto as our host. Top bloke is Alberto, extremely helpful and a great man to speak with. He was more than accommodating to us, he made us a booking at VR46 restaurant, provided us with a massive spread for breakfast and very helpful for our Valentino related needs! I would recommend to anyone thinking of visiting Tavullia.

Reviewed By laurabigoni2006Accoglienza bellissima. La Sig.ra Antonella è una persona veramente dolce, disponibile e cordiale. La camera a tema Valentino Rossi è molto accogliente e suggestiva. Pulizia impeccabile. Bagno molto grande. A disposizione anche un piccolo frigorifero. Sicuramente ci torneremo. Consigliatissimo anche per il panorama e come punto di forza è situato a 30 metri dalla pizzeria/storie Da Rossi e dal Fans Club. In pratica... Un punto strategico per gli appassionati del mitico pilota VR.
