Museum was established in 1923 and is located in a magnificent neoclassical building erected in 1833. with departments of Archaeology, History, Ethnology and Art History. Early Neolithic Starcevo culture artefacts, some 8.000 years old, original flag from the Great Revolution in 1848. Our most prized work of art is the original painting "Migration of the Serbs" by famous painter Paja Jovanovic.
