Just spent the Aust Day long weekend at Lennox Heads. Beautiful, low key holiday spot. Walk to everything in town - shops, pub, restaurants and then a short drive to anything else the area has to offer. If fighting for a carpack and strugglingthrough thecrowds is not for you then this is the place to stay.

For a family with younger children (6 and 9 years old) Lake Ainsworth offers a safe place for everyone to swim.
And our children have discovered the fun of canoes, and like padding around the lake (with life jackets of course).
The colour of the water can be a little off-putting initially (stained by the roots of the tea trees lining the lake).
There are also BBQ facilities, picnic tablets and shady spots for a picnic.
And for those with older children, Lennox Head Surf Club and the beach are only a 100m away.

Pat Morton lookout is easily reached off of the Ballina Road. There is a sealed car park at the located and maintained grounds.
Great views down over the township and along the coast towards Broken Head are provided. There is an access track from town and a further walking path, up some steps, heading further up and along the headland. This seems to connect to further paths providing for the possibility of an extended walk.
The car park and lookout area is also a designated hang-glider takeoff point. We were there on a Saturday and it was being used for this: quite spectacular.

Love the space, a hidden studio with a nourishing and relaxing environment. All the mats are provided and bolsters, blocks etc. The space was beautiful, the teacher Vicki, is kind and open and so welcoming. Beginners - this is a great space for you, she is attentive and well trained and allows options for all levels of yoga, prenatal and kids offered as well.
The space has a great feel, it is at the back of a residential area, although you feel as though you could be at an exclusive rainforest space, lots of green and nature around you. I walked out finding more peace and contentment and very happy. The class ended with a cup of tea and a chat.
I will be back!
