Sam was an EXCELLENT teacher, the kids thoroughly enjoyed their time with him, and they progressed so quickly in such a short time! It was amazing how they were able to go down the reds after 3 days with him and only having had the experience of the kiddie school in Hanazone. The kids loved skiing between trees while learning the skills needed to go down the mountains. Sam made it look easy and he was always in such a great mood and super patient. We highly recommend him for families with kids, I'm sure he would have been fantastic teaching me as well. Thank you so much for assigning him to our family and we look forward to booking him and other Propeak instructors in the future. Definitely worth it!

We booked rising sun for 4 days of guided skiing out of Niseko. Dan took us on four awesome days of touring. He met us at our accommodations each morning, gave us beta each morning on where the good snow would be, a suggestion of where we should go, and options in case we were feeling something else. Dan was fun, brought us to some epic spots, always found the good snow, took some great pics, and most importantly was the ultimate snow safety professional and was diligent about risks in the backcountry and kept us safe. Rising Sun helped us organize some transportation and logistics, and took us to some sweet onsen and dinner spots. We were really impressed with our trip and would definitely book again

Niseko Annupuri International Ski Area

Reviewed By svitloshodu - Kyiv (Kiev), Ukraine

We are a group of 10 freeride fans from Ukraine, and this season in 2020 Annupuri has become our favorite snowboarding area out of all the resorts covered by Niseko United. Firstly, the hike to Annupuri peak is a great experience itself. It might be getting really windy on the way (it was -18 and wind when we were going up), but the outcome is definitely worth the effort. The view from Annupuri peak is epic - you can even see the ocean if it’s not foggy. The way down is a pure pleasure when there’s a fresh powdersnow. You first need to go down the ridge, and then proceed in a great forest. 100% recommended for all backcountry lovers!

Niseko Moiwa Ski Resort

MOIWA Is Well Known Throughout Niseko As A Ski Resort With Historical Roots Going Back As Far As 1919. There Weren’t Any Ski Lifts At The Time, And Skiers Would Climb The Mountain For Many Hours Because Of The Exceptional Snow Quality, Abundant Snowfall, And Small Yet Wide Ranging Course.

great terrain, and much smaller queues than Grand Hirafu. Serviced by bus, but don't leave it too late to catch lifts to the main areas where you might be staying.
