We had personal business in a nearby town so stayed at a local hotel off of Hwy 401. On taking the back roads going North, we passed by this unique venue with metal robots and metal dinosaurs greeting us in the side yard. All are for sale...There were plenty of interesting and one of a kind gifts from all over the world in this unique building both upstairs and down.

We went as a family of four and absolutely loved the winter goat Smurgle. All the goats were friendly and super cute. It was a great experience and if you were not already a goat lover then you will be once you visit the Haute Farm. Debbie, the staff and the volunteers are incredibly friendly and make you feel at home. We enjoy a delicious lunch after the Smurgle at the Screaming Goat cafe. I would definitely recommend visiting Haute Farm!!

I went to the Archives to find out a bit about my old house in Port Hope. The archivist, who was a temporary person, was so helpful and knowledgeable. She searched out information from many different sources and perspectives. Even when it came to wanting copies of some information, she was helpful in sorting through to find only the essential sheets of paper since the photocopy cost was high.
