We stayed here in December 2019 & February 2020, never been on a sunny winter holiday before-having been twice now we've wondered why not? This part of Portugal has more sunshine hours than Florida & only 2.5 hours away from the UK in the same time zone. Quarteria is a great place, long sandy beach which is so clean & tidy with regular ramp access onto the beach for people with mobility issues. You can walk for miles along the traffic-free promenade & there are lots of beach-side restaurants/cafes that you can visit if you fancy a bite to eat along the way. I recommend a visit.
