Gartmorn Dam Country Park & Nature Reserve

Reviewed By Tillyman

A circle around the Dam will take about one hour and has no obstacles, difficult climbs or impediments. The views north are absolutely stunning and the range from the Ochil Hills to the start of the Highlands north of Stirling are sumptuous. Worth knowing that there is a cafe to visit at the end so that you can reward yourself with freshly made light lunches, fresh baked scones and cakes. Well, after all the effort, you deserve it, don't you?

Dollar Glen

Stunning walks around a very beautiful area. Only disappointment was the castle which we didn't feel was worth paying to enter.

The Japanese Garden

Reviewed By Vancatwoman - Glasgow, United Kingdom

We visited on a cold bright day and the garden was stunning. Felt we could have been in Japan. Beautifully laid out with authentic lanterns and pagodas. The cafe is good., Excellent soup and sandwiches plus scrummy cakes. Would love to visit again.

Kidz World

Reviewed By PonyUpMum

Smaller than some of the bigger commercial play areas this one still manages to pack a lot for kids to do in a smaller space. Snacks and drinks are on the pricier side but there is also a selection of fresh cooked hot food not to badly priced. Kids had fun. I got peace. Job done
