A quiet retreat in the vineyards
Reviewed By Milou VLocated close to Vergina, the hotel is located amidst vineyards on a hill top providing a fabulous view of the valley and the lake from the terraces. A real pleasure tasting the house wine at sunset from the terrace! The hotel itself has a special ambiance with dark wood and antique style objects and decoration. The room is spacious and functional, all in dark wood as well. Service was warm and friendly. Breakfast is ok with limited items on the buffet. We did not dine at the hotel. Since the hotel is in an isolated location in the countryside, you need to drive 10-15 min to Veroia for good choice of restaurants.

You can walk to museum. 10 minutes walk to the palace. Careful - museum closed Thursday and half day on Tuesday. Theatre closed.

Nice room close to Royal Tombs
Reviewed By CrossFamily2020Nice spacious, clean rooms and breakfast is an option. Very close, 5min walk, to Royal Tombs and an excellent Cafe just down the street. Host was very proud of the history of the area and had excellent tips for more exploration. We followed many of his suggestions and it really did add to out trip.

Reviewed By Maria DWe spent 2 nights and we were very pleased with our stay. The owner was flexible and very friendly, she made sure the accommodation was perfect for our needs. The suit was very specious and comfortable, the balcony was huge and the view was spectacular! There was an iron(I mention it because it was not provided at other places we've stayed at in Greece)! It is only minutes away from the museum.

Reviewed By Wanderer20984173353Excellent location; stayed there as intermediary point on the way to Zakinthos. Very clean, rooms are very big and hosts are very friendly. Large breakfast ? In the evening we had dinner at one of the local tavernas. Incredible family atmosphere there !!! We were the only tourists ! Food was incredible and was hard to leave the place.

Reviewed By LiamBrussels_BelgiumThis is a lovely very comfortable, spacious and well-run hotel in Vergina, within easy walking distance of the Royal Tombs. It is very child-friendly. It is also incredibly good value. The rooms are large and comfortable, clean and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent for only 5 Euros. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. Unfortunately, we only spent one night here but would have been happy to stay longer had our program permitted.
