Popped down to Cornwall for a few days and whilst totally disappointed with the accommodation we had booked, we were so lucky to find this gem of a place!! Food was outstanding, as was the Tarquins gin but it was the extremely attentive and friendly staff that was second to none!! Thank you Batman, Harry (Calum) and the rest of the crew!! Fabulous!!

Absolutely stunning place and view

Absolutely charming Inn. Very well located at the sea front. Very cosy and spacious bedrooms. Brand new and very clean. And a view by the window to the Sun rise. I recommend strongly. The Host is superb. Down the pub and the restaurant is serving enormous portion! Very happy of our one night stay.

Little Fox Hotel

Restaurant, Bar & Hotel set in stunning location with far reaching views across to Dartmoor and just a short stroll to the coastal path. Open all day for good, local, freshly made food & drink. Fabulous beer garden and outside terrace areas, licensed for civil weddings but perfect for all functions. Muddy boots & waggy tails welcome!!

Disaster!

Reviewed By ErinJ101890

My partner and I attended an event and feel like we had been ripped off! The organisation was poor, the food was mediocre (shocking if you knew how much we paid for it!) And the staff were ok - seemed like they would rather have been anywhere but there. Very little attention offered. I understand they're trying to re-vamp the place, but if they're not ready to cater to events then don't advertise it. We were disappointed and the day was rather strained because of it.

Fiona was great and helped me with transport to my next destination. Bed and room really comfy. Lovely breakfast with great views. Didn’t eat in evening but was offered food even though arrived late. Useful advice on area given. All staff friendly.

Not a 4 star

Reviewed By itsnotgrimupnorth

We received a text with instructions how to obtain the keys. Check in was very easy although we were informed our accommodation was at the top of the house so off we went up the stairs with our suitcase. Actually we were on the first floor. Negative points: The bathroom and shower were very small. Their was a huge stain on the carpet. There was dust on the picture frames and lights (this was visible, I wasn't looking for it) Positives, the bed was comfy and the staff were nice. Also the breakfast was nice, even though we had to share a sausage (this was our error though when we booked in, it only showed as a single person on booking.com) It was very near to friends we were visiting so the location was convenient. This B&B is advertised as 4 star on booking.com but it is not a 4 star rating in my opinion. I would have marked it higher on here had it classed itself a lower rating. That being said, it was a pleasant place to stay.

Rude manager

Reviewed By Chassal1

After spending a lot of money on food and drink for friends and children, were were saddened that we felt like we had to leave at 5pm this evening due to the rudeness and arrogance of the manager who kept complaining that our children were too loud whilst playing in the play area, I will look to avoid this place in the future, as an extra I will be discouraging people in and around HMS Raleigh and Torpoint from going near this place due to my experience here.
