Reviewed By Michelle SWe have been blessed to travel to many luxury resorts. This resort by far stands out above the rest. From the minute you step onto the property you are treated like royalty. The property is beautiful secure and absolutely breathtaking. The general manager is one of the best in the industry. There is nothing negative that you could ever say about this property. They wait on you hand and foot and make sure all your needs are met and beyond. I highly recommend this property. This is a bucket list resort. Just for an example there was a night that we were all extremely tired. They placed security officers around our villa to make sure no one came to disturb us.

Wonderful stay at Da Vinci Lodge
Reviewed By ruterd2022My sister and I had a memorable stay at Da Vinci Lodge. We arrived early in the morning for a quick nap before our gorilla trek. After the gorilla trek, we were pleasantly surprised by a foot massage by Eli and Mogesha. Our room was heated by an in room fire place and our beds had heat packs which made us sleep well. The next day, we went to see golden monkeys and our room was decorated with flowers upon our return as we packed our bags. Our delicious meals had large portions. Thanks to Tony, Eli, Mogesha and the rest of the staff for a great experience at Da Vinci.

Great Lodge for Visiting Mountain Gorillas
Reviewed By TimfmerrimanWe had two great nights here, before our gorilla trek and then after it. Our shoes and boots were mud encrusted when we returned from the trek and staff greeted us with free foot massages and they cleaned our boots/shoes. Mine looked new afterwards and I thought would have to throw them away. The food was really good and their lounge was pleasant as a place to hang out, have a drink and eat popcorn. The rooms are beautifully decorated and each has a fireplace. They will build a fire any time for you, but at dusk they put a fire in the fireplace and furry hot water bottles under the sheets. Being cool here at night, it was great to slide into bed and find the sheets warmed. The whole place is comfortable and friendly. I highly recommend it. This lodge is right next to the new Dian Fossey Visitor and Research Center, a great place to visit.

Reviewed By H7087YPelizabethkWe had such a great time visiting this wonderful place - Beds are super comfortable and with hot waterbottles at your feet (provided for free) and the nice blankets we were toasty even when it dipped to single digits - local dancers stopped by to perform for tips and it was a great opportunity to help some talented kids get some cash towards paying their school fees - recommended without reservations!

Nice, new, modern property with perfect location to Volcanoes National Park
Reviewed By wes222I highly recommend staying at this property. The rooms and grounds are nice, new, and provide all of the modern comforts of home. The hospitality of the staff was over the top (from the warm towels upon arrival and after an excursion, cleaning our muddy boots after hiking, and making sure every little thing was attended to) - special thanks to Latifa and Jose for all of their hard work and assistance. The food was great, and the amenities everything you would want. The property is located right down the road from the new Ellen DeGeneres Campus, and it is a perfect location to all of the activities at Volcanoes National Park (driving to and from excursions is kept to a minimum from this location). We stayed during their soft opening, and they are scheduled to fully open the week after we left. As it is a new property, there were not many reviews online, but do not hesitate to book. We're pretty discerning, and I would definitely recommend.

Outstanding Lodge!!
Reviewed By 642haljA wonderful rural setting close to Volcanoes National Park. The staff is wonderful and attentive to all needs. We visited in resolve season and appreciated the electric blankets, hot water bottles for our bed also, and a charcoal fire in our room. It was very cozy. The food is excellent. I highly recommend staying here.
