Basic but Ok
Reviewed By RobM645I've stayed here a couple of times now for work. Reception & check in is good, quick with staff that speak English. To get to your room you will probably have to walk back outside, Ok in the summer, not so great in the winter. Rooms are then spread over 8 floors with 4 rooms to a floor. The lifts are slow but functional. I've had similar rooms each time, which have comprised 2 small separate rooms, think big enough for a double bed with room to walk around. Separate basic bathroom with a shower. Water pressure is negligible so if you like a powerful shower you will be disappointed! Rooms are clean, though beds typically hard with thin pillows. You may or may not get a stocked mini-bar! The Wi-fi is decent which is just as well as the TV channels are just about no existent if you want English language, There is a small basic gym. The restaurant offers a reasonable buffet lunch. Pizzas are not bad either. The wild Duck Bar is dark so not great but they give you all the crisps & nuts you can eat. They'll also bring you food down from the restaurant. Location is fairly central & some of KPOs offices are just behind the hotel so only a 5mins walk. There are also a couple of other bars a few minutes walk. So overall adequate.

Reviewed By FedePi86I've been at the Marko Polo hotel for 27 night, first thing I can say it's that personnel it's not skilled, almost nobody speaks English, it's very difficult to comunicate and the restaurant service it's too slow (I can't wait one hour when the place it's almost empty) and often they also make mistakes while they're taking the ordination, so you get only a part of what you ordered. The breakfast room it's very cold in winter, frozen air comes through the windows frames. Rooms acoustic isolation it's inexistent, you can feel even when your neighbour is breathing. Laundry service it's fast but they broken one fo my sweater (hotel manager offered to pay it back). Gym it's good, even if there is some leak from the roof.

Standard rooms: 20 sqm room with a large size bed, marble bathroom with shower and free amenities, TV with international channels, safe box, refrigerator, air conditioning and complimentary wifi internet access. Apartments: 30 sqm apartment with a double bed, wardrobe and a safe, a well equipped kitchen with oven, refrigerator, electric kettle, toaster and kitchenware, a living room with a sofa, TV with international channels, a marble bathroom with shower and free amenities, air conditioning, heating and wifi.

Reviewed By HydrousGood restaurant with nice food the rooms are OK. No bar on the site and the gym could do with a makeover. Overall a good stay the staff were helpful and friendly. They are security on the main gate which is good
