Costa de Caparica (Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈkɔʃtɐ ðɐ kɐpɐˈɾikɐ]) is a Portuguese civil parish, located in the municipality of Almada along the western coast of the district of Setúbal. The population in 2011 was 13,418, in an area of 10.18 km². Since December 2004, the Costa de Caparica has been designated as city within the urban hierarchy of Portugal.

We had a glorious afternoon on Sunday deciding to go to Costa. Friends had recommended to go to dR Bernard because my friend is a keen surfer. Gee, they were right. We had a wonderful lunch together with excellent food in front a breathtaking sea. Afterwards my friend went surfing thanks to the surf school run by Dr Bernard, while I treated myself with a nice cocktail in their lounge! The Sun was there too to make it a perfect day! Thank you team. We will come back

Lufi Surf School is a unique and qualified surf school, located in Costa da Caparica, accredited and recognized by the Portuguese Surfing Federation and Turismo de Portugal. With more than 10 years of experience and a team of specialized professionals, accredited by the Portuguese Surfing Federation and Portuguese Institute of Sport, we use appropriate methods and materials to ensure safe, high-quality classes for our students. We introduce and teach our children and adults about the exciting world of surfing and sports. Our members provide them with the knowledge, rules, techniques, principles, and capabilities to learn the conditions and minimum qualifications required to create a safe and fun environment while surfing.
