Beautiful place to chill and enjoy watching planes taking off/landing in Naha airport. Beautiful clear blue skies and fluffy clouds with the sea and beach. Just lovely exploring this island which is so near to the Airport. We drove to the island in the mid morning and it was already quite busy with carpark lots mostly taken up. One of the highlights of visiting this island is to dine in A Happy Pancake as can be seen by the snake Q outside the cafe. There are quirky shops and food trucks dotted around. We should have planned to visit at the later part of the day for a better experience.

Ashibina Outlet Mall

Located in the south of the main island, this outlet mall is just a 15-minute drive from the airport. You'll find luxury international brands alongside sports brands and Japanese specialist stores.

Spent half-day (6 hours) at the outlet. This outlet was well designed so that you could easily to go to different shops. All the shops are quite close to each other. Other Japanese outlets such as e.g Rinku Premium outlet at Osaka is usually divided into different phases and connected by footbridges. But here in Ashibinna outlet, all shops are concentrated together. So it is comfortable to go different shops especially you carry a lot of purchases. You don’t need to cross roads/ bridges. You could find famous brands like BEAMS, ABC Mart, GAP, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, COACH, Agnes b, etc. in the outlet. And you could also get something “made in Okinawa” in this outlet as souvenir too! The restaurant at 2/F was very nice and not expensive! Transportation is very easy by taking the Naha bus no.95 from Naha Airport (¥250 each adult) although the schedule is not so frequent. It would be better If more frequent bus to Naha airport were offered. Anyway, I am so happy and really enjoyed shopping at the outlet. Highly recommend people if they like shopping in Okinawa.
