Reviewed By Jeff694Lovely hotel in gorgeous surroundings. Junior Suite with sea view ideal & well maintained during our stay. Staff extremely courteous & willing so early season hiccups in the catering department understandable. Climb from reception to rooms can be challenging but buggy service on demand ; there is a nice walk into town though & the shuttle service back is available if needed. The week's break was just what we needed. Ferry to & from the island from Skiathos via Skopolos a nice addition to the trip.

Ideally situated on a picturesque hillside and above the magnificent sandy beach of Agia Paraskevi, affords spectacular panoramic sea-views from all rooms and lounges.

Drinks very expensive. No ambience at the bar. Very few used it. Breakfast was acceptable. We stayed half board and dinner was average. I would not recommend half board. Staff at reception friendly. But we found the restaurant were not very welcoming. Staff didn’t acknowledge you. Very reluctant to clear plates between courses. Talked a lot between themselves rather than looking after their guests. Ordered a glass of wine and the measure was so small possibly half a glass at the most. . Always our trips to Skiathos we have been made to feel special. Not here I’m afraid. Please improve your standards as we would love to come back. Be competitive and you’d have your bar full. You have a lot of competition out there.

location great but hotel service and facilities are bad for a 4 star hotel
Reviewed By japesywe stayed at the Alonnosis beach hotel for 10 nights end of August 2021 as a family of 4. we were very much looking forward to our stay after lock down.However we were quite dissapointed by the hotel staff and facilities even though the staff numbers were down post lockdown. The positives first is that the location is secluded and quiet with a great private sandy beach whixh is a 5 min walk from the hotel rooms. Also the buffet breakfast was nice with a good selection of fresh fruit, pancakes, eggs and nice greek yoghurt. Also swimming pool was decent although small and sea water. The negatives were that the service was bad and lunch and dinner food basic and not well prepared. All the staff seemed super stressed and inexperienced apart the the breakfast manager who was most helpful. Also the bedrooms were old fashioned in decor and bathroom and not really clean. We found under our mattress some old foreign currency and receipts from 6 years ago meaning that mattress had not been changed or turned for over 6 years. in summary the location is great if you have a car to visit other restaurants and beaches. The hotel is really more a 3 star than 4 star hotel. Service needs to improve and more respect and politeness provided to guests Also rooms need an upgrade and some investment to justify the room rates and 4 star rating.

Reviewed By tuplaw2022Stavros the host is charming and attentive. Everything worked out smoothly. Location is perfect if you apreciate peacefull surroundings. Few steps to the beach and to the town. WiFi was good. Airport transportation is complementary if you stay 5 nights or more.

Location Kolios Beach: Skiathos, Northern Sporades, Greece. The Kolios Beach Studios are ideally located on a beautiful sandy beach in Skiathos Island, Greece. They enjoy spectacular views over the Kolios bay and the Sporadic sea. The apartments have a superb location being next to one of the best beaches on the island and the main road which ensures a ready stream of buses to and from Skiathos town a mere 6 kilometers away. Kolios beach is ideal for relaxation having a shallow shelf entrance to the water making it perfect for children and the less experienced swimmer. The more accomplished can head out to deeper water to enjoy scuba diving and the chance to see the occasional octopus.
Spacious apartment with great view
Reviewed By OnAir704532We spent wonderful 10 days in Kolios. We have rented the bigger of the 2 apartments which has a big and well equipped kitchen and is really spacious for a family of four. Although the building is a bit older, the apartment is very clean and comfortable. We did not miss anything. The sea view is great and Kolios has a small, but nice, clean and sandy beach, which was less crowded than other beaches. Even better is the beach in the next bay, which is a 10 minute walk. There are plenty of tavernas in walking distance. The only downside is, that you need to walk on the main road to many of them,which is a bit stressful with kids due too the high traffic. But that's an issue for most places on Skiathos.
