Hotel Samana is only a 3 star property in city. We offer 59 A/C and non A/C rooms. We have swimming pool, banquet hall and conference hall. We are attached to Narayani Mall and NS cinemas.
Hotel with average room for its cost, rude staff and worst breakfast
Reviewed By Seejan SThis hotel is situated in a Busy street of Hetauda. It is in main road. Because of this, there is lot of noise in hotel room. Rooms are preety decent but not worth for the price it charge. Staff are very rude right from reception. They simply don't care about ur any need. Breakfast is the worst. Dont take the BB plan. Our order were all mixed up and when we complained they said they can do nothing abt it and we had to eat what we were given. They didnt have the courtesy to change to actual ordered and in top of that we were charged for what we hadn't ordered! Restaurant staff does not have knowledge of their own menu! Rooms lack all the basic amenities like safe deposit box, hairdryer, etc. Skip this hotel if there are other options available!

We offer best rooms in the city. Our rooms are fully equipped with 24 hour hot and cold running water. All rooms are facilitated with Air Conditioning, Phone, Daily Housekeeping, Attached Bathroom, Hair dryer (on request), Cable television, Free Wi-Fi, Lake and hillside view,tea coffee maker.
A Good Resort at Hetauda

I won't vouch for its lodging simply because I have not slept here. But I can vouch for its ambience and food. Food is good. Try Nepali lunch set. Staffs are helpful and friendly. They will arrange for local transport like 3-wheeler if you have to go to city. Pls. remember I am comparing food and staffs in context of Hetauda- which is still in its infancy state in regards of hospitality management. The place is clean. And the best thing about this place- it is located at quiet location away from city and is full of nature. Spend a day here and you will certainly feel rejuvenated. TIPS: Book table just beside lake. You will certainly enjoy lake breezes, watching ducks and nearby hills.

Very Basic level of facilities
Reviewed By aloknbsmStayed for a night yesterday. Price was NRs 1200 for a single room. AC was there. Small bathroom with shower, commode, a congested wash basin, an electric geyser which was not working, all these were in the room 107. There was a slipper but no toiletries in the bathroom, they did provided a soap on request though. Restaurant is at the ground floor. Food average. The price included a complimentary breakfast, which also was average. Location is nice. Acceptable for a night stay.

Reviewed By davefr0mirelandLocated on a city bypass for heavy goods vehicles it's not a particularly quiet area, though it is near the bus station and the Narayani Mall. Complimentary breakfast was limited to omelette and toast with tea/coffee (Western Menu) or 2 Asian dishes. A published menu was available but some items seemed to be unavailable. Other reviewers have mentioned no hot water. Most of the time the water was cold (refreshing when outside temperatures were 30C). Hot water did flow, but rarely. The bath remained blocked during our stay (despite being reported). Toilet (European style) wouldn't flush on occasions but this was mostly due to the flushing mechanism than the plumbing. (Remove the panel above the toilet to access the control rods, so that they can be pressed to initiate flushing). The hotel had been arranged by our Nepalese hosts, so we had limited control over choice of hotel. In retrospect the Prakash would not have been our preferred choice of hotel.
