Reviewed By viviank785My family and i stopped over for dinner and we loved every bit of it. The manager (Vincent) welcomed us well and we felt at home. He assigned Moses who was kind enough to give us a hotel tour. I loved the rooms, the views(such a beautiful and peaceful place) I'd totally recommend?? The food was tasty and delicious. The head chef (Lazarus Otieno) was kind enough to come to our table to ask about how we loved the food. The staff are amazing and welcoming. I loved loved the beautiful views of the hotel and the lake. I'd totally visit again and again ?. Thank you so much for having us.

Reviewed By OsmanJ18The hotel is based in a very green and refreshing environment. The rooms are clean. Mr. Zakaria is the best welcoming staff in the hotel. The hotel can make improvements in regard to the TV stations available especially for kids.

Sunbird Lodge, an 4-star rated eco-friendly, luxury boutique lodge is located in the Great Rift Valley, one of the natural wonders of the world. We are less than 127 km (1 ½ hours) from Nairobi and a few minutes off the new and superb Nairobi – Nakuru highway on a good, private access road at the shore of Lake Elementaita, bordering and overlooking Soysambu Conservancy. Located on private land there are no park or conservation fees in addition to our very competitive rates. On excellent roads, it is only 20 minutes to the famous Nakuru National Park and only a few minutes to Soysambu Conservancy.

Reviewed By Melissa JSunbird Lodge is a great location on Lake Elementaita. It is close to Lake Nakuru where we went for our first game drive of the trip. The towels were super small and scratchy and I understand the conservation aspect of laundry but we stayed at other much more remote locations and they had large fluffy towels….this is really one of the few creature conforts you will have on safari.. The food was very good. Breakfast can be enjoyed on the veranda while watching a variety of birds at their feeders. No flamingos on the lake while we were here but still a neat spot to start off even if you can hear road noise as you are close to the nearby highway.. Staff was friendly and helpful.

This is an Exclusive, Luxurious and Outstanding lodge with ten cottages six doubles and four twins, three of them with outdoor showers. Located at the shows of Lake Elementaita, each cottage has a large balcony and a spectacular view of the lake. Overlooking Soysambu Conservancy. The sunset view from the lodge is a site to behold.

Reviewed By 907babusThe property enjoys amazing views of L. Elementaita, the sunsets are breathtaking. The water is hot and plenty, cottages spacious and cosy. I highly recommend Cottage 1. The staff were friendly and helpful. Shoutout to Roy who booked us. I Will definately come back.
