Jade Munnar is a resort tucked away from the beaten path in folds of the Munnar mountains. Guests are personally looked after by the family. Rooms are spacious, meticulously clean and furnished with a calming sense of aesthetics. The landscape and natural swimming pool encourage guests to linger.

A beautiful cottage stay accompanied by excellent day tours
Reviewed By hilahermelinkuttnerWe stayed for 2 overnights in The Wayside Cottage. The cottage we got was lovely and had a nice balcony overlooking the valley. It should be known that the location is below the Tea plantations area so no views of the plantations from the premises. The owners were nice and welcoming. Breakfast was simple and good. But the highlight of our stay were undoubtely the 2 day tours with Vysack, the owner's cousin, one being a car ride tour to most of the famous sites in the Munnar area, and the other a 5 hours hiking tour that ended in a beautiful waterfall. Both tours were just wondeful and full of Vysack's kindness and good humor .They greatly enriched our knowledge

Reviewed By s_suganthCompact and most clean place. Calm location. We a family of 4 stayed along with our furry friend. stayed in the upper and a beautiful morning sight. Its an offbeat place but worth every second of it. If one does not have a vehicle, no problem. u can always call a jeep or auto. While its sufficient for 2 adults and 2 kids in each unit, i will always recommend to take 2 units. One is in safe hands with the host. Breakfast is home made and everyeone loved it. Jio netw is good. If one wants a vacation, this is the place. Min of 4-5 nights is required to enjoy most of it. Cardomom plantations, passion fruit, jack fruit - you name it. Cant wait to head back to it during monsoon.
