Reviewed By Lucia CUn'oasi di pace e tranquillità. Mario e Concetta sono molto gentili e disponibili, nonostante ci siano fermati due giorni ci hanno accolto come se fossimo figli loro. La nostra camera era bella ampia con tutto il necessario. Anche il bagno, grande aveva tutto quello che ci poteva servire. Nella zona Comune c'è una bella cucina ampia. Colazione super con cornetti sempre freschi. L'esterno e bello verde, a disposizione anche tavolini e un barbecue. La piscina è molto grande, ha pure un trampolino e la doccia esterna a disposizione. Sicuramente ritorneremo!

Rustic, peaceful and homely

After a week, we were heading to Sorrento but I am afraid we got so used to the peace and tranquility at Casale San Pietro, we only stayed one night in Sorrento and returned here for a second week! It really is little more than a family home that opens its doors to the public. The rooms in the main farmhouse are old and rustically decorated, large and comfortable. The pool is cleaned daily by Mario and the gardens are beautifully kept. Maria the owner is often around (and so is her ultra-friendly dog). Nicoletta keeps things ticking over for guests. It isn't perfect; you can ask for drinks by the pool but that isn't obvious..a little self service honesty bar would be good. Just ask for a drink when you want one and it will come. The restaurant is only infrequently open but the chef, Fabio, is very good. Again this is all just part of the charm and the informality. There are good restaurants down the road in Giffoni. The pool area is blissful and the beds and umbrellas are great. Occasionally a few local people come and use the pool for the day but it is hardly busy! I can't recommend it highly enough.

Reviewed By Olga PCamera pulita ariosa ed accogliente, tv in stanza ed aria condizionata, bagno spaziosa con doccia. Cucina con macchina caffè espresso, bollitore, microonde, bibite e latte, croissant e biscotti più tanto altro. Proprietaria signora Antonietta disponibilissima e socievole, ci ha anche fatto dono di una cassetta di ortaggi freschi del suo orto. Consigliatissimo.

Reviewed By RobertoG796Totally unsatisfied. Cold and unfriendly reception. One hour to get a pasta dish. Grilled vegetables cold and untasty. Grilled meat below average. Not recommended! Quality price ratio not sufficient...even the green salad, although fresh, was untasty!
