Reviewed By VolpeseaAl Tramonto is a lovely b&b located in the middle of the countryside but really close to Garda Lake. You have the possibility to relax and visiting nice place all around as small traditional Italian villages. Personnel is really kind and available for any support.

A restructured and furnished with elegance farmstead accommodates the gests, who can be lodged in 5 rooms and 2 independent 4 or 6 beds apartments, with kitchenette, lounge/dining room, private bathroom and heating. Each lodging (rooms and apartments) has its own bath, TV Sat + DVD, telephone and conditioned air. The rural and stylish furniture, well in harmony with the simple and warm country environment, is perfectly matched to the wooden ceiling but still providing all the comforts of a modern facility. Each lodging has the name of the local typical flowers: Red Lily, Water Lily, Pervinca, Primrose, Snowdrop, Iris and Orchid.Swimming-pool, playing park for children, barbecue open air, natural fishing lake, a pleasant sitting room and a well-lit terrace with a view of the village are available to the guests for a simple and genuine breakfast. Not far are also available typical local restaurants, where you can taste a variety of delicious dishes of the Mantua cuisine.

Maybe not a central location, even it is easy to commute or walk into town for dinner. Maybe not he most latest enterioir or furniture, but really countryside style with a identity and real Italian flavor. Maybe not the full five star breakfast, but a personal home made cake and cafe real italian breakfast with all the love the family can give. Ask and you will be served home made cake, local cheese, ham, salami, eggs, omlette you name it! ..and on top of it all we did like the cheese so much that we could buy and bring some home the family made it possible THANK YOU Lina and the Fattori family!! We will come back soon.......

The Bed & Breakfast "Le quattro stagioni" is a recently restored country house, located on edge of River Mincio wildlife reserve. It is situated for easy access: - To the historic towns of Brescia, Verona and Mantova, or to the summers resort on Garda Lake (Sirmione, Gardaland); - Excellent for walking, cycling or riding in the surrounding countryside. Only ten minutes far from the motorway A4 Milan Venice and from Lake Garda, you will enter a quiet, a atmosphere where you will discover nature. In 2002 Castellaro Lagusello has been included by the ANCI among the "Most Beautiful Villages in Italy".

Reviewed By pknnsngnAbsolutely loved it here. Beautiful B&B in a quiet town, unless a tamburello match is on. The breakfast was medium boiled eggs, omelets, meats, cheeses, pizza, cakes and fresh fruits. They have a kicker table, a friendly one-eyed cat and a cool breeze blowing through garden at night. Wine, beer and soft drinks are on hand and reasonably priced. Water pressure in the shower is good. Antonella is wickedly charming. There is also a nice little bar just outside the castle with ample seating and food. The grounds around the lake are closed off, which is a real pity. A rough translation of an Italian review of the town reflects my own thoughts: "The village itself is worth a short visit, but has been transformed into a money machine for tourists every opportunity is good to arrange for a fee for various types of events where access to the small lake can be done only for a fee and in case Of large groups being in private land Sin. Responsible tourism should also be on the part of administrations" Nevertheless, I will def be going back to Le 4 Stagioni on my Lago di Garda holidays.

If you want value for the buck around Lake Garda and a relaxing place with history, Antico Borgo - Castellaro Lagusello, is a hidden diamond to visit. We will be back.

King's lunch
Reviewed By Udo NOn our way from Tuscany to Lago do Garda we were looking for a nice place to have lunch. Ended up here and what a lunch! Highly recommend the "tagliere per due" and the "caprese" and you will enjoy the best from Italy. Be aware one does not speak any other language then Italian and only accept cash! Take time to walk around in the medieval town and castle garden. Enjoy!

Ottima colazione, gestori gentilissimi e molto disponibili, elevato rapporto qualità/prezzo. Annesso c'é il ristorante, della medesima proprietà, dove si mangia egregiamente, cucina nostrana e genuina, ottimi prezzi. Veramente una bella struttura, che raccomandiamo senza esitazioni.
