Reviewed By Lauryn CStaying at Aristi was an unique and unforgettable experience. All staff we encountered were wonderfully warm and welcoming. The rooms are lovely and the view from the property is incredible. There was so much choice of delicious local specialties at breakfast - something for every taste and preference. Dinner at Salvia restaurant was a highlight. Modern Greek cuisine using the finest local, organic produce. The spa is also a welcome option after a day of trekking through nature and the therapists were first class. It was an exceptional experience to enjoy a massage in the outdoor cabana listening to the soundtrack of birds and the surrounding nature of the Zagori. Enjoy cocktails at the bar by the new outdoor pool, with the most magnificent view of the mountains in front of you. The staff were incredibly helpful in helping us organise our visit of the region, suggesting an itinerary for our entire stay upon arrival which included maps and all the info we needed. I cannot recommend a stay at Aristi Mountain Resort highly enough.

Reviewed By Gene R JMy wife and I stayed 1 night, arriving by rental car at noon and street parking in front. The friendly English speaking receptionist stored our bags and provided local info to visit Papingo. Returning to check in before 3 PM, we followed the receptionist, who carried our bags, down ~50 steps. Room #8 was carpeted with a closet, a nice (but tight) renovated and outfitted bathroom with quick hot water & tile shower, then a refer next to a desk with stool, small TV with excellent reception of mostly Greek channels (EPT 1, Mega & Star movies in English) and finally a comfortable queen bed and chair. A door opened to a balcony with a chair that overlooked a beautiful valley to mountain view. The secure room WIFI was moderate(went to lobby for better reception), 5 room outlets, remote controlled AC unit and heat registers. The 8 AM breakfast buffet was very nice in their scenic dining room with OJ, apples, cereal, bread, 3 kinds of eggs with hot meats, spanakopita, tomato/cucumber/olives, meats/cheeses, 2 strudels with good normal coffee. This is a clean and quiet 1850 hotel, expanded to 22 renovated rooms, offering a quality stay in small Aristi.

The accommodation consist of nine self contained living spaces suitable for 2-5 people. All are individually decorated combining traditional features such as large fireplace exposed beams and brightly painted walls with modern conveniences. Each house has a fully equipped kitchen, luxurious bathroom with natural cosmetics and comfortable bedrooms.

Reviewed By Ori BWe had great experience staying there for 2 nights. Probably the best place to stay in Aristi. They also have restaurant where they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff was very helpful with recommendations, maps and anything we needed.

Reviewed By dremland3 families chose to stay for the weekend in this property. We booked 3 rooms. They offered us 2 premium and 1 classic for 105 Euros each. To much our dissappointment, the classic room is too classic... The room 1 is at the old building (built in 1800) therefore it had no light, no windows, it smelled awfully. Our children started crying... they didn't want to sleep in "jail". I complained to the manager and he said the hotel was fully reserved...he couldn't do anything! When i said that I am willing to pay more...he said he didn't have any other room otherwise he would offer it. We were deeply sorry and the kids were annoyed. However, after a few hours he found "the suite"! Magically, there was a cancelation... but we paid 150 Euros for this room.... 50% more. The breakfast had variety but the quality was poor. I don't want to come back and I don't recommend it. For 150 Euros, you can definetely find a better place to stay in zagorochoria in November.

Great service; great staff and nice terrace
Reviewed By 913KenH913After a long drive from Chalkidiki, we arrived at Aberratio hotel in Aristi. The hotel perched on the edge of a mountain in the Zigori region. From the outside, it looked like a very simple traditional stone built hotel; there’s the characteristic of houses in this area. Once we were inside, it brought us a sense of modernity. It has a beautiful library to the right of the entrance and a gorgeous lounge room space. The hotel also has a terrace where you can enjoy a direct sunrise view or a sunset view of the mountains. In front of the hotel, it has a coffee table with two chairs and an arch on the right. Have a drink there and enjoy the landscape through the arch. The view framed by the arch creates a scenery as if it’s from the medieval time. Our rooms were nice and spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable. The design is very cute. The staff members, Kosta and George, were very friendly, helpful and informative. The hotel also offers breakfast, and we were glad that we took this option. Everything was fresh and delicious. Overall, I recommend this hotel to my fellow travelers.

A serving place for the restaurant is our stone paved flowered yard with views to Aristi Village, to surrounding mountain scenery and Vikos - Aoos National Park. Our hotel is at a distance of 1.5 Hour's drive to closest beaches, 30 min from Ioannina airport, 2.5 Hours' drive from Preveza/Aktion airport and 1.5 Hours' drive from Igoumenitsa Port.
No other place in Aristi like Zissos
